How come whenever I'm going away theres always this huge panic and things start to go against me!?
Last week my 13 month old got ill, had to take him to hospital - bad ear infection, gave him anti-biotics - which gave him thrush in he's little mouth. After several dummy swaps my 3 year old now has the lurgy from him and the thrush big time. they are both crying all the time!
So now I have 2 ill children, 3 late night shifts in work, suitcases to pack, washing to do and money to get out of the building society and exchange...!
We are leaving for Gatwick hilton on saturday and when i get in that car i just hope the weight of the world lifts off my shoulders or i'll have a stressful holiday!

I hope that your children are feeling well soon
I hope you have a fab holiday

When my girls were younger they got thrush in their mouths when teething and i was told by my (old fashioned) mid wife to sweeten some natural yoghurt and put it in the freezer untill it's just iced over and let them eat it, it worked a treat! If your youngest cant eat it that way then mix some of the yoghurt with milk and feed from a cup. It's something in the yoghurt that soothes the infection, cooling their wee mouths down, its not a cure by any means but it does cool their mouths down
