Going on strike til I get a better PIN

I think by going more frequently and buying an AP I have killed my success getting PINS I usually book something just in case and typically 2 or 3 changes later end up with something close to the public code but with a pin usually save a bit more and can plan ahead. I'm just ticked off and refuse to pay more than others. We are now eligible for Shades of Green and can get discounts at Swan/Dolphin so I'm going with those for my Fall trip and unless I can get a PIN or public code that's it. Plus our dates in Nov are blacked out now even though they don't overlap Jersey week. I'm more than happy to go and don't want a huge discount but geesh I'm not willing to pay more than others. I have a Shades trip coming up at the end of Feb and if I'm happy there my Nov trip may be much cheaper than planned and include more off site meals and parks since I'll rent a car anyway.

There are AP pins too. Pins are random.

Yep many of us Disney regulars have never received a pin. Look at my signature and even with all those trips I have NEVER received a pin.

SO to the OP you should feel lucky you have GP discounts and Pins to chose from.

I thought the same thing as the OP, but got a PIN 2 days ago. Of course, my son and my secretary also got the same PIN. I do think that it is mostly random. My secretary has not been in 3 years and then it was a short trip. I've been way more often than my son, as he was in college. He did a survey at AK that took quite a few minutes and they scanned his ticket, we thought that might have been what triggered his. I just got back from my 2nd trip in a month and have an ap. Who knows???? PP,

I think what makes it bad, is that we being on the Dis, we see see the offers others get. If we weren't on here, we would not know about pins unless we got one!
