We have booked a trip in mid July staying on WDW property.

This is our first trip to WDW and I have heard plus/minus of going to parks on EE days.

With July being a hot/humid time should we use EE or skip it and go to a park that had it the day before?

Also, have heard that AK is especially hot, should we use EE for that only or not??

Thank you for any help.

I wouldn't dream of not using ee in July. Most days we go early to the ee park, then go back to the hotel after lunch. At MK, for example, we usually eat counter service and leave about one. At Epcot and MGM, we might do a sit-down lunch and stay until 3. We return to a park (usually a different one) in the late afternoon/evening.

I would definitely use ee at AK. Our family also finds that the key to AK is to not stay too long b/c it's so hot. We limit our touring there to a half day at most at a time.

We are going mid July too. We plan to use EE at AK and MK, and go to MGM and Epcot on the days the other has EE.

If it is possible, skip EE and do e-night. It is so worth it! We were there a couple of weeks ago and did e-night. Very short waits. 10 min. tops.

My biggest tip is to do Pooh and Peter Pan first because those are the only lines that got long.

We went to non-EE parks and encountered few waits longer than 15 or 20 minutes. Everything at Epcot was a walkon except for FastTrack and Mission Space.

We do the opposite of shatzjsl does. Since PP and Pooh have FPs we save those and try to hit Dumbo and the Speedway first since those lines do get long and theres no way to avoid them.

We are also going in July. We are definitely doing MK EE's at least once. I posted a thread about AK's EE and was told not a lot of rides were open on their EE and there have recently been long waits to get through security.

I may do MGM's EE, if we happen to be up early that day. I would recommend not doing EE every day unless your family gets up REALLY early. In July the parks are open late so we do some late nights and then sleep in a few of the days.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

If you have small kids EE at MK is a must! You can ride all of the rides in Fantasyland a couple of times each with little or no waits. But you must be there at the start of EE to do this. We are always able to ride Pooh, Peter Pan, Small World (save for last because there is rarely a line, also not open this summer), at least once if not twice. We hit these first and then we go to Buzz and Space Mountain. We will get a FP for either of these if they have started giving them out so that we can ride them again later. Then we hit the opening of Toontown as there are lots of characters out. We can fit a lot into an EEmorning at MK and sometimes we are out of the park at about noon when the crowds really start to build.

We don't usually do EE at the other parks because they are not as effective but will do EE at Ak and MGM at least once this year.
