Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if it was doable to go to Boma for dinner and then to DTD for entertainment later in the evening. I am going to be there at a convention so we probably won't even be able to get to Boma until 6 or 7. I love Boma and I was going to try to talk my coworkers into going but they really want to do DTD too. If it isn't possible, what restaurants do you suggest at DTD?

Thanks in advance for your help!

bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to DTD. (There is usually a stop at each DTD area.) A lot of places stay open late on Saturday so eating at say 7:00 PM at Boma leaves a lot of time for DTD. Raglan Road and House of Blues should have entertainment later in the night.

Not sure what "entertainment" you'll find at DD these days!!

Restaurants we like:
Raglan Road, Portobello YC, House of Blues.

Getting from AKL to DTD should be no problem, but with Pleasure Island closed there aren't many places available for adult entertainment.

I would go to Jellyrolls at Boardwalk instead, though you'll have to take a cab. there are no buses that will take you there from AKL.

I agree with the others. It will be an easy bus ride from AKL after dinner directly to DTD. But there is no longer a lot to do there other than shop.
If you decide to skip Boma I would whole heartedly recommend Raglan Road at DTD. It is a beautiful restaurant with great food and fun entertainment. They have a live band and an Irish Step dancer. Entertainment begins at 9 PM. I made 8:30 ADR's and sat right near the stage and ate and enjoyed the entertainment. Our server was great about anticipating when we might be ready for an additional beer. We had a fun evening. Since the entertainment begins at 9, you could get to DTD early and wander around before dinner if your coworkers really want to see more of DTD.
I also agree that Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk is great fun. It is a dueling piano bar and they work off of requests. There is a cover charge - I think it is $10.
Have a Great Trip.
