Going Code Crazy!

Is anyone else who is going in the Fall going crazy waiting for codes to come out? I check every website I know like a million times a day Does anyone know approximately when they will come out? I was hoping the end of this month. Where is the best place to look? mousesavers.com ? Thanks!

We are going October 23-29 .... we have a room-only ressie at the Poly. From the rumors I've read it appears new discounts may be released soon..... like the first week of May. But, I don't know what dates they might cover. Hopefully through October!

We're going to July but I am "code crazy" too. Keep checking all the websites all day long. I'm sure that as soon as I'm away from the computer for any length of time I'm going to miss something. I really think APs are going to come out this week. I wonder if Disney Visa is going to extend any of their codes? I wish something would come soon so my family doesn't think I'm completely nuts.

I hope they have codes for Christmas and New Years. Right now I'm paying $1,271.00 for PC. We've gone during the summer and Easter and I've never had to pay rack rate. I hope my luck with the codes hasn't run out.

Hi SRUAlmn, I thought of you today when I saw the Mary of Mousesavers was going on vacation and they wouldn't have any updates until 4/27. I was counting on Mousesavers for advance notice of the codes.

I'll be there when you'll be there! Right now we plan on being there from 10/23 to 10/31. Don't know where we'll be staying yet; hopefully ON-SITE ! Just waiting for those CODES!!

We just decided to go from September 9th to the 13th. It is my son-in-law's birthday on the 11th and mine on the 12th and all our bosses are letting us off Friday and Monday. I am hoping for codes since they want to stay at AKL again. Our grandson loved the animals when we were there last summer.

It is like you are looking all the time. People at work ask me all day if I am working or on the disboards?

Gotta love Disney in October! We've been very fortunate the last 3 years and gotten good discounts - I have my fingers crossed this year will be lucky too! This code waiting game is so hard!

We are waiting to for a room only code to come out...we're going Oct 21-25. Right now we are paying $603 for 4 nights at POFQ with a AAA discount. I would like to shave about $200 off of that price, or upgrade to the WL for what we are paying for POFQ. Our only problem is that we don't have an AP, so hopefully it won't be an AP only discount; I do have the Disney Visa though....

We're going Sept 12th-19th. I hope the codes come out soon. We're staying at POP and I would love to save some money on the room.Money is tight since dh just had another surgery and will be out of work till at least July. I just hope it all works: we've had to change plans 3 times.That's why it's still a secret from our 2dds. April

I don't have an AP either, but if the AP code comes out I'll apply that to my ressie. Then if a DisneyVisa or Room Only comes out, I'll go with the best one. Since you don't need the AP until you get there, I have a little lee-way. If the codes come out with about the same deals, I'll save about $700 for a nine day trip over my AAA. Pay for a good chunk of the food.

If they follow historical patterns, however, the next codes will not cover through the end of October. We can only hope, though.

Our only thing is we have no need (sniff) to purchase an AP this year. I promised DH that our next big trip would be to Hawaii, so no WDW til probably 2006 or 07 after this trip. So I couldn't do the trick of booking with the AP rate and buying the AP once we got there. So, I'm hoping for a room only or Disney Visa code to come out before we depart.

I'm going crazy waiting for any kind of code or discount. We're going 8/27/04 to 9/2/04. I haven't seen anything yet.

I check every day. Nothing yet.

A Disney Visa pkg is coming out for 7/5-8/28/04. A postcard rate is out through 8/28/04. Do you see a trend here? The Mickey Moniter should be out in May. If I was to venture a guess, I'd say they want to see how their pkgs (especially if they are releasing the 7 for 5 pkg) do before releasing AP or other room only codes. That leaves us Sept and forward people out in the cold (please forgive the pun). I suspect it will be months before we hear anything about the fall. I hope I'm wrong...

To tell you the truth, I'm not expecting to see any codes for the fall until late in the summer (August). I mean, we're still in spring. If the codes come out soon, I'd be ECSTATIC. If this next round of codes doesn't include the fall, let's not lose hope. . .it's so early. We just have to keep our fingers crossed that the fall codes come out sooner or later.

Something I noticed about the room only codes (AP and general) this year and in previous years-- all of them coincide *exactly* with the various "seasons". The value season is 7/5-8/30, so it may make sense that when codes come out, they will only be until 8/30!

if discounted room rates for July thru the end of August are coming out in April/May for busier months, why would they wait until Aug to put out codes for value season? Didn't the AP rates through July come out fairly early as well? Even with the Fairy tale pkg being offered in 9/03, didn't a lot of DIS'ers come back from their Sept vacation saying the parks were empty? That alone brought me hope of AP discounts being offered this Sept, and hopefully not only a month before. Hmmm, maybe I'll do a search about Sept crowds.
