Morning girls!
MM - swimming lessons and dance recitals sound fun (and busy, but the good kind!)
I'm woke up much earlier than normal today because my brain is stressing about these tickets. I didn't hear back yesterday so about 4:00 I called and was told by the guy I talked to that he believed my "case" was passed on to the wrong group. He was so great and found a pair of tickets in the section we were supposed to get but told me because of the cost, he wasn't authorized to get them to me and had to pass it on to another group.
I called back last night to see if there was any news and was told no. Each person I talk to guarantees I will have tickets but I'm getting very nervous about HOW I will get them. We are leaving for St Louis after taking the boys to school. I'm going to have to maybe request they are sent to my brother's hotel in St Louis (we are meeting him for a late lunch in the afternoon) or to the dome to be held at will-call
I know I didn't do anything wrong, but I am feeling bad for the person we bought the tickets from. He entered the wrong section number in his listing (floor section instead of concourse) I suspected this was the case when I bought the tickets based on the row number. We could have purchased tickets in the concourse section for $20-25 less but took these hoping they were in the floor section and the error was in the row number. Well because of the guarantee from this website, they will give us tickets in the floor section and the seller must pay the difference. Prices have gone up quite a bit in the last 4 days and that difference is up to about $200 per ticket.
Yes, he made a tidy profit from our purchase but he will lose that and more. plus because the game is tomorrow, he won't even be able to sell them to someone else to recover the loss. I told one of the people I talked to yesterday that if it helped, I would bring them to will-call for someone else who wants to purchase them but they said their policy is to return them to the seller.
OK...rambling over! I just discovered the local egg hunt is at 10:00 on saturday so is will be a short night for Greg and I! (I'm guessing we'll get back into town about 7 am)
Anyways, happy Thursday everyone!
