Katie - that really sucks. The same kinda thing happened with us. First our flight was with NWA, then Delta. That's fine. And then the times started changing. It's not by much, but our flight gets into Orlando later and we leave a half hour earlier back to Detroit....But with what's happened to you....Oh man I would be flipping out on their customer service department! I would make a big deal about it that's for sure! Let me know if you would like me to call them for you and complain some more! I think you should come the day before so we could meet up for a bit!

btw - there really isn't much to pry into right now! I haven't decided if there will be more yet or not. It's an odd situation because he's a couple years younger and we work together somewhat...I don't know yet but the friendship is good either way! C's is probably way more exciting!

Julez - That's fun! B-days in Florida are amazing!

LL - I bet you have a wish the same as mine....my first home WILL have a library!

Good Evening Gnomies!

Well, it's official. I'm a college student...again.

I start on May 11th. I'm taking night classes for Medical Assisting. It's something I've wanted to do for a really long time and now is the time. It means no definite plans for Disney, no baby quite yet but I'm really happy with my decision.

I'll be going three nights a week...Tues/Weds/Thurs. It stinks because I won't see Marc from the time he leaves for work on Monday night until Thursday night after I get home from school but it won't be forever so I can handle it. It should take me about 18 months to a year depending on the classes I'll test out of and sometimes they offer classes on Mondays & Saturdays so I might be able to do it a little faster.

I'm excited yet really really nervous. Eeeee!!

Well girls, life is never dull huh! My latest drama is over our basketball tickets. Not sure how many of you are reading my PTR but after UNI won their game on Saturday, Greg and I decided to go to St Louis on Friday to watch them play in the next round. We bought tickets through a website that is basically a place where people who have tickets they aren't going to use to sell them. We priced out tickets for a day or so (because they are all resale, the price is set by the seller, some great deals, some not so much. Also, tickets come and go continuously). We were considering the cheap tickets in the nosebleed section but then found that for a bit more, someone was selling a pair in the floor section and we decided to splurge...they were a great price for that section.

I knew something was fishy because the floor section rows are numbered but they had a letter for row in the listing. I looked carefully at the website and they have a guarantee that you will receive the seats you agree to purchase or they will replace them with equivalent or better seats. So the tickets arrived yesterday and sure enough, they are in the upper concourse (about 40 rows above the floor section). So I called the website people and they sent it on to the resolutions department. I should hear from them today to find out what they will offer us.

Cross your fingers for me!!

Hey girlies....all caught up in Gnomieville!!! You all know why I have been MIA....working SO hard as the hostess with the mostest from last Thursday through Sunday....basketball, birthday parties, etc., etc.!!! I was SO tired on Monday and Tuesday that I almost felt like I had the flu! Getting back to my normal self, but that doesn't mean things are going to be any less crazy around here....Megs starts her first soccer season on Thursday with practice, and a game on Saturday. I really love how their league works, because when she is in the Under 6 group, her practices and games will always be on the same field, at the same time, on the same days!!! Can't complain there!!! She looks SO cute in all her soccer gear....I will get a picture and post it here for you!!! She still has dance class on Friday evenings until the recital on June 11th, but I also signed her up for a four-week swim class with one of her best friends on Mondays and Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10am before she goes to school at 11am. The lessons are only during April, so I think it won't be too bad. The YMCA is right next to her school, so I think it will all work out!!!! BUT, I know I am about to start feeling like a Mom taxi service!!!

Haven't heard much in the job department---I know what you mean Katie about having to go through the wait.....YUCK!!!! It would be SO nice to just KNOW if and where I had a job for the next school year now. Planning would be so much easier that way!!!

I'm also sending out some pixie dust for all the potential "we's" in Gnomieville and for all the job changes, career changes, raises, etc. that has been going on lately!!! Only good things for us Gnomies from here on out!!!

I know LL.....when I start acting all kooky next month, please understand why!!!! I think swim lessons are SO important for kids. I loved mine as a kid, and was shocked to find out that my hubby has NEVER HAD THEM!!!!! I almost want to sign him up at the same time!!! hee hee hee!!!! It will be busy, but a good busy! I will be sure to post pictures of our little ballerina/soccer pro/swim bug as soon as I get them! I can't wait for her recital---I know I told you they were doing all the music from the Mary Poppins movie and play...it is going to be SO good!! Her costumes are ADORABLE!!! Her ballet number is to "I Love to Laugh," and I forget the name of the tap......something from the play....I will have to look that up! We are getting really excited too because we get to see the show in April as well....on the 25th!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I think your Mom being proactive is just as good. Tom never had any of that. I just want Megan to definitely know what she is doing in the water...I get scared thinking of her not knowing what to do!!! She is SO looking forward to the lessons though!

The whole recital is going to be SOOOOOOOOOOO good!!! The school where she attends goes all out for the recitals.....there will be sets, and props, and GREAT costumes....I can't WAIT!!!! The dance troupe from this school is VERY good....taking first place almost everytime they do a dance competition. Her pictures will be taken on May 1, so I will have the costume all ready by then---will post pictures afterwards!!!
