Somewhere in the neighborhood of Oct 14-23, 2010 seems like a good time for a ticker...

Sounds wonderful of course! (then there is the litle thing like...I will likely have just gotten my first paycheck and hopefully we will have moved into a new...read, more expensive...house) Otherwise, it sounds wonderful! At this point, I am looking ahead to Nov 2011 for my 40th birthday...anyone care to join me?

I just got a long email from Phillip and next October has been confirmed! As long as I have the days to take off at my job (which they give a week of personal days in TX WOOT!!!) I think I'm going to call Disney tonight and book my room...although there was also talk of DVC...because we might have just found a resale that seems very appealing for us LOL!!!!!!

I needed some happy news this week LOL! That and Prince P was selected as the Teacher of the Year at his center!!!! I'm so excited for him...but at the same time after all the drama that has been going on there the last 2 weeks I'm not sure if he really cares about it anymore.

OOOH 40th birthday celebration...Sounds like a ton of fun!!

Well I like to think everything happens for a reason!! The first resale contract that Prince P and I were looking at we got an email saying that an offer has already been accepted for it and the sale is pending. So we're going to keep looking we had our eye on a couple of others so I will keep you updated but hopefully very soon I can say I'm head HOME!!!!

Happy Saturday Gnomies

Today is day 2 of our families 3 day weekend. Yesterday we went to Des Moines and got pictures taken, went out for a nice lunch and ran several errands to stores we don't have in our town. We came home and headed to the football game. Greg's high school team is in the playoffs. Last night was the quarterfinal game and they won! (still undefeated). Next Friday they play at UNI (our alma mater and where I worked last year) under the dome. We can't wait!

Today was going to be a relatively quiet day but I got a message from my SIL saying her grandpa had a minor surgery the other day and she and the kids made a last-minute trip to Iowa. We will meet them halfway today and go to lunch and probably just let the kids play at a park or something. It is going to be sunny and 70 today and tomorrow!

Jen, sorry about the resale but like you said, everything happens for a reason!

CP, I just have to share...I had a dream last night that we met. The first thing I was surprised at was that you didn't look quite like I had imagined from your photos. The second surprise was when you immediately took off your shirt to show me all the tatoos covering your back. Yeah...wierd dream! (unless you actually have a giant Minnie Mouse head between your shoulder blades that's the only specific one I remember)

I'm hoping for a relaxing day too. I have to go to dinner at the inlaws tonight for BIL and FIL's birthdays. Last time we had dinner with them it went very well, the inlaws were like they were when Marc & I first started dating so I have high hopes for tonight.

Speaking of movies....so I know most of you will be seeing New Moon on Nov. 20th...but considering I haven't seen the first one yet I don't think it would be in my best interest to see the 2nd one first LOL!!

However I saw last night during my rerun of CSI NY during my weekly while Prince P is fishing I watch Gary Sinise all night...I saw a preview for the movie The Blind Side. I am SO going to go see that! It looks like an amazing movie.
