Gnomes Gnomes on the Range!

Don't worry gals....still here!!! Running on the same ole' circuit....nothing much new to say either!! Excited for Paula's upcoming trip!!! Have a BLAST!!!!

Hey girlies! I'm around too but also don't have much to say...

well, until tonight!

Greg had basically decided he didn't want the boys and I to go to Disney without him at thanksgiving. We talked about Christmas but it is SO crowded and I'm just not sure I would enjoy it, plus that is b-ball season which makes things more complicated. We talked about spring break but next year our break backs up with Easter which is only marginally better than Christmas and I really had my heart set on going in 2011.

this evening, we were looking at the crowd calendar and suddenly started talking about June. Not terrible crowds (busy but not terrible), hot but really we could take our time since we won't have many restrictions on our time. We looked at what deals were available and realized the kids play free deal would actually still be decent for us in June since Patrick doesn't turn 10 until the end of the month (and still kids prices on the dining plan)

Soooooooo...looks like we may be going right after school gets out So very excited but not much time to plan!!!

Greg wants to keep it secret from the boys until the day we leave. I've always thought that would be fun to do but never thought I could keep it secret but with less than 100 days to go, I might be able to pull it off!!

Paula- have a great trip!! I saw those flamingos too and have been thinking about where I would put one at my house. I don't really have a garden per se.

Stace & Jen- nice to "see" you and hope you're doing well!

Katie- June would be fun. Holy cow, you can make your ADRs immediately! I think the surprise element with the kids would be great. I'm sure there are lots of ideas on fun ways to do the big reveal. Hurrah!

Jen - when AREN'T you going to WDW? You have a few trips planned, you lucky girl!!!

Nothing defininative yet. Greg wants to wait until break to make the final decisions but last night we were pricing out the dates of June 6-19. Hoping my first gnomie meet is in sight!!

C, I already started searching ADR's last night but a couple are of course already unavailable. Ohana may have to wait yet again Not sure how the reveal might work but my first thoughts involve doing all the packing in secret and getting them all the way to the airport before telling them

I'm barely on the DIS anymore. I just don't have time. I started my internship this month so I'm busy with that and work and trying to get to the gym. I don't know how I'm going to keep this all up when school starts on the 31st.

Katie, I'm glad you're still going to go!! I've been in June before and never had a huge problem with crowds! It was a long time ago but I'm sure that doesn't matter! My mum took me after our school year let out at the end of June and the only thing I remember being problematic was the weather because I was terrified of the afternoon thunderstorms! I bet it will be amazing! And I'm sure the DisMeets will be a ton of fun!

I'm jealous of everyone planning these trips that are so close...I still have over 6 months to wait! I haven't even booked yet! Apparently though, the trip is going to be my birthday present from my mum!

Katie....so excited for you that you get to go in June!!! I liked going in June when we went with my family.....use your FP and you will be just fine! YEAH! We really wish we could go in June, but that didn't work out with Nicole's school plans......I guess we are just going to have to make the best of July.....UGH!
