Girly Weekend 2009 - *IT'S TODAY*

....izzy was bitten by our rabbitt(never bitten anyone b4 and she wasnt even doing anything), it was quite bad, we spent the afternoon at A & E, it bleed so much (i soo hate blood my legs dont work properly..lol)it was quite deep, shes on Antibiotics and i need to take her back on Friday to be seen again, which of course poses a problem with my weekend, my mum has all the kids while hubby works so i cant excpect her to take her, and hubby has a meeting he cannot get out of as its for a new tender for a new job, so i am a bit unsure as to what to do at the moment, i may have to be a saturday arrival or see how she goes *** i have been up all night with her crying because its so sore, doesnt help that she is a thumb sucker so wont leave it alone, its all swollen up today which is pulling it all tight , so shes a bit whingy and clingy for mummy, also the antibiotics seem to be going right through her and shes a bit off her food...

Aww, poor Izzy! Sounds horrible - hope it heals and she feels better soon...

Oh Terri, I am so sorry to read this. I hope that she will be better soon. Have you had the rabbit checked out as well? I don't know much about rabbits, but I know with other fairly docile rodents like rats, if they suddenly start to bite, it is usually a sign that they are ill. If this rabbit has never bitten anybody before and the attack was wholly unprovoked, he or she might well be poorly.

I started to panic just a little with only three days to go. I know Terri has given me the reservations number and said that I should still use the room if she could not make it for any reason, but this is all too risky for me. I am worried that I would get there and they would not let me check in and I have nowhere to go. So I am going back to plan B. I just checked the availability at the Crowne Plaza and DH will probably come down to share the room with me. In any case, he said that he will treat me to the hotel. He just noticed that the football team that he supports (Aldershot Town) is having an away match at Hereford on Saturday. So he is considering joining me at the hotel and go to the match on Saturday.

I was just about to give up, but DH told me not to be so silly. I have had a few tough weeks at work and I really need something to look forward to. Right, I better go and have my hair cut.

oh corrina you dont need to stay anywhere else, im still happy for you to use the room if i only come for one night or not, i can amend the reservation to both our names or pay in full before we get there if that makes it any easier for you. i didnt mean to make you worry.

on another note i might make a vet appointment justincase....
Izzy is fine albeit a little whiney.....and feeling sorry for herself, her thumb today looks worse than yesterday , is a horrid colour today and is starting to look a little infected evn with the antibiotics

I did have a little panic this morning, but this was resolved within about an hour. I now have a nice shiny hotel confirmation in my inbox. I know that you had said that you were happy to use the reservation if you could not make it, but I am worried that there would be problems at check in. It is too far to come to have to turn around again because I have nowhere to stay.

I think this is a good idea. The infection probably has nothing to do with this, but if an animal acts completely out of character then there is usually something afoot.

DH just asked me what time we are having dinner on Friday so that he can catch me to get the room key before I head out for dinner. The poor guy has to work a full day. So for what time is dinner booked?
