Hi Ladies. Your prayers have helped me out some. I have a few good things that have happened recently, mostly in following my dreams and I hope to continue to keep those good things going. DH still needs to find more permanent work but that's another story.
Anyway I have take care of Capri. I think I need to do the two shirts now too right? Who's handling please write to me again. Thanks. Oh I may have you there. I'll go look, lol.
Now for a room. I will need to room with someone. I have put a call into one but they may or may not need me.:rolleyes1 So if anyone is looking I am pretty good. I only party hard and make loud novices:thumbsup2 if you do. If your not that way, I am then very quiet and don't bother anyone. Basically I play what ever way you want.:rotfl2:
My only requirement is I need the side of the bed with a end table. I have a sleep machine that you will thank me for so you don't hear me snore.:scared1: Other than that, I can sleep with anyone or alone.
Any takers? I will Wed and leave Sun. with Beth.

I don't think so. It says it is good through 9/18/2012. :confused3

Odd! I'm with everyone else, I thought they didn't get activated until their first use.

I kind of decided today that sometime next year I want to take a road trip to Canada, just to do it. My dad and I have bounced the idea around before, but nothings come of it yet. I figure if my friend and I drive up to Vancouver we're going to take some quality time to stop by Tacoma, Washington as well which is where we both were born (oddly enough we met working at my store here in CA ... small world). I really, really, really want to do this.

Any tips from anyone along that way on what the best time of the year would be?

One of my friends in High School did a road trip and drove all the way to Alaska. She did it during the summer of 1983 in her 1977 Ford Pinto. LOL

Yeah Beth I would check that out. It seems they have been messing things up lately. Last year we bought one for Shane and I bought the voucher and then we didn't actually USE it till 3 days later but the expiration on his pass is the day I BOUGHT it. So I would normally say something but since in our case it doesn't matter I am not going to bother but for yours that is almost a month's difference so I would DEF say something!

Good morning, ladies!! :)

Just a quick hello from me. I've got ironing to do that I've been putting off way too long. And then I'm going to start hauling in the Halloween totes from the garage, and start prepping for the big day! :cool1:

TTYL!

You'll have to post a pic. DH doesn't like Halloween and frowns upon much decorating. I have a pumpkin. I have some cute little black cat "stakes" that I put along the walkway. I have a cute little garden flag that has a cute ghost holding a black cat. On Halloween night I will hang up "Mr. Bones", my glow in the dark skeleton and will put the light up skull in my craft room window and put my manheim steamroller spooky sounds cd in the boom box. That's as good as it gets here. LOL

Lisa~ We will be on the same flight into OC so we should all share a cab. I will have Holly with me.

Can I scream for a moment?! :scared1::scared1::scared1: My DH and I just discovered TODAY that the past two days someone has been going hog wild on our bank account and stole $1000 in fraudulent charges!!!! I am supposed to drive 3 hours to Hollister for a race tomorrow and now have only $48 to my name until our bank clears it up. I am sooooo tired of my bad luck. Our bank is trying to be helpful, but they cannot drop the pending charges since they are part of the fraud report. What a suckfest.

ACK on the bank fraud. Been there, done that. It's a total suckfest that I would only wish on select individuals.... LOL

On the cab, Trish and I are booked on Super Shuttle already. We used a discount code so the ride was only $14 each round trip, plus tip.

eta: Jen, my DH just used some rather colorful language and description of what should become of the cretin who skimmed your ATM card (or however they got access to your account)....

Awesome! Now here's some real over the top.. how the heck did they do that? decorating.. we watched it over and over last night. (The house is in Riverside, CA.. if we still lived nearby we would be hanging out there!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAXMtUCcp7o

Too funny - that same homeowner also did it to "Thriller"

So sorry Jen - fraud sucks big time! Hope it gets cleared up soon.

And forgot to quote but Carol, watched Grimm last night - great show!!

I'm off for my last trip to DL this year  My sister and I are making a quick trip to enjoy brunch at Club 33 tomorrow! After thinking I would never be able to go, I was lucky enough to be invited twice this month!

As for Oct of next year - I really want to try to make the mini-meet!

And Beth, agree with others, the AP should not have been activated until you first used it. I would call - The Annual Passport Member Services can be reached by calling (714) 781-4567. They should be able to see on your card what the first day of use was.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Well, I made it to my race and came out of it VERY muddy! Warrior Dash was a lot of fun and I am glad we made the trek to Hollister to do it. The last obsticle makes it so worth it - you crawl into a muddy swamp and have to swim through it and duck barb wire for about 40-50 feet. My DH and I came out completely brown.

Some sunshine did fall upon me today...at least is giving me something to think about other than my stupid bank account. My DH gave me the go-ahead to take DS7 to Disneyland in December!!! :cheer2: I have been going nuts missing the place and Bry and I have never been, just the two of us. Two years ago I took DS8. Bry is a lover of roller coasters so this should be a great trip! I am keeping it a surprise. What hotels are right across the street? I am trying to find the best price. Quality Inn on S. Manchester is $80, but I really don't want to make that walk when we are only there two days. The hotels that come to mind are Camelot, Desert, BW, and Carousel.

Park Vue Inn is right across the street. I've stayed there 3 times and really like it. Free hot breakfast, free food in the early evening too, chicken patty sandwiches, potatoe salad, green salad and fruit. Delish fresh baked cookies in the lobby each evening too. We also had a welcome basket in our room in the evening with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. We paid $133 last Dec. I think it was worth it because the free breakfast saved us a lot of money. We ate good and only had to buy one meal in the park.

Thanks! That is very helpful :goodvibes It is running at the $170's right now...I will have to call them later.

Jen I don't know what time in December you are thinking of going but we got Desert Inn for 96/nt for the 9-12 of December. So that is pretty cheap and they have decent rooms. Course if you are planning on going Christmas or New Year's week I would expect much higher prices. Good luck!

Depends...how well do you like rain?:rotfl:

I live about 30 miles north of Portland, OR in a small town along I-5. The only obstacle I can think of is snow in the Siskiyous. Sometimes they can get snow as early as October and as late as April. They usually clear it pretty fast, but if a storm comes in they have at times shut I-5 down for a few days.

If you want warm, sunny weather your best bet will be in August or early September. As far as weather, I think November & February are the worst months. November can be foggy and cold & February is just cold and icky.

If you are looking for a slow, leisurely drive consider going up Highway 101 on the Oregon coast. It's very beautiful, especially the southern & central Oregon coast. But during summer the road can become congested on weekends.

Hope this helps!:)

We are going December 19-20th. I have to wait till Christmas break since I am still pretty new at work. Too much time off for Disneyland might make my princepal jealous and unhappy pirate:

I did the mud run today and it was awsome! I was sooooo muddy!

And here is a pic from the Yelp Elite party I went to on Friday. This guy was dressed up as Abe Lincoln, who I am not a fan of (but the teacher I share a classroom and office with is), so I had to take this picture to share with her!:goodvibes Ps....I don't hate Abe cause I am a racist....he participated in the murder of Sioux Indians and I am part Sioux.

I just stayed at Quality Inn this last trip. If you've ever stayed at Hojo, the driveway on the side of QI is half a block from the HoJo market and where the ART shuttle stops. My rate was $59, so it was totally worth it. I've stayed at BWPPI and Carousel on Harbor and both were decent.

:moped:

Hello, hello!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. It's been a busy one here so I apologize for not reading back. I did see some muddy photos of Jen! Awesome. :thumbsup2

I am tired and actually heading off to bed....or at least to chill with the tv.

Night! :)

Oh Pintrest....how did I not learn of you earlier? I am so addicted!
