Should I can make a post and start collecting addresses? Even if we only get a couple, I enjoy getting Christmas cards.

We had a pretty good turn out for it last year. I know I sent over a dozen cards and I had just joined the group. I'd be in again this year!

Time for the Christmas card exchange sign-ups! (This is separate from the Christmas stocking exchange sign-ups currently underway, so even if you've signed up for that, you'll need to send another PM for this.)

For those of you who are new to the trip, or who've been around but have not participated in the previous Christmas card exchanges, this is how it works.

If you enjoy sending and receiving Christmas cards in the mail, then simply PM me your address, either here or on Facebook. I will be collecting addresses until the day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 23.
At that time, I will compile a list of all the addresses, and send them out in a PM to each person on the list. All you have to do then is send a card (just a card, this exchange doesn't involve presents) out to each person, and each person will send one out to you. A simple way to spread some Christmas joy.

I love getting cards (as opposed to bills!) in the mail and seeing my wall covered will all the festive holiday cards.

We've been doing this for a few years now, and in the past our sign-ups typically range between 12-20 ladies. So if you do sign-up, make sure you are prepared to send out a card to each person on the sign-up list, that way no one is left out.

Sign me up for stockings and Christmas cards....I am headed to that thread as soon as I leave here.

We only had 6 trick or treaters at my house, but the neighborhood was jumping...my street is just in a weird location I guess. Oh well, more candy for me! My DH did decide that we will be going back to DL next Halloween since he prefers that to staying at home for the holiday.

I am looking into taking my ASL 3 class to Disneyland for Deaf Day in March. I guess it happened last year while we were on the Diva trip and I didn't even realize it (or forgot lol). I have to write a note to my principal telling him why the trip is educational hahaha....I offered him a spot on the trip as a male advisor since I have two boys in that class...Disney bribes are the best bribes.

Just got caught up since I haven't been here in a few days. Wow prices went up !!! Maybe you can get a better price throught Expedia or Hotels.com or one of those type sites. The 1st time we stayed there I went through Hotels.com. The second time I called the hotel direct and told them I was a past guest and would like the same rate and they gave it to me. Doesn't hurt to try . I'm planning on staying there in Dec. and hope to get a good deal.

I love card exchanges! Now I have an excuse to haunt Hallmark Hope they put out a printable coupon like they have for the past two years.. free or cheap cards and other little goodies to set aside for my family, woohoo!

Hubby and I plan to stroll thru Target clearance this week, see if we can find some stuff to stash away. He has been making jewelry out of small figures and lego people, cute -cheap- easy.

I happily printed a ton of coupons, clipped and need to do some sorting. Getting ready for some super shopping as I haven't stockpiled for months We ate up most of stockpile, which was fun but now it's kinda sad and scary to see an empty fridge, almost empty chest freezer and my shelves are pretty bare except for some random things that can't be made into a meal.. honey mustard, pasta and beans anyone? One of my local stores will have ten doubles, rare event here so all of us coupon crazy ladies are planning the attack for Saturday.



Yep, that is the high point of my life. Saving money on the grocery store.

This is my third attempt at posting a reply. I guess the other ones are lost in cyberland.

I am on the road to Texas, typing on my new IPad2. It's my early Christmas present from Dave. Anywhos, we are hauling a couple of tractors for some friends moving there.

i have been extremely busy for the last 3 weeks. Looks like I have a lot of stuff to catch up on.

Oooh, I know this one! Sarah is leaving on a cruise this weekend with her family then heading to WDW next week, and Stacie, Vicki, Daisy (those 3 are doing MA), Cheryl, Linda, Bree and I are getting there at various times early next week and staying through the weekend.

Happy "Almost Friday Day", Divas!

For our Epcot-bound Divas - if anyone sees a Food & Wine pin with Stitch on it, I would be most happy to reimburse you for it plus shipping to me. Or you can bring it in February. Or you could ask Beth to be my Stocking person and put it in my stocking. LOL I would also be happy to have anyone's used up Food & Wine themed gift card, full size or the little wristband one (or both!). Yes, I collect limited Disney gift cards. It's an addiction. I know. LOL

I stayed up WAAAAAAAYYYY too late last night. Apparently, we are going on vacation next May WITH MY MOTHER IN LAW and sister in law. For a week. In THRILLING (sarcasm dripping much?) Williamsburg, Virginia. Kill me now. I am NOT a history buff. I'm not even REMOTELY interested in the Colonial stuff. AT. ALL. The only way this is happening, with a fake smile on my face, is that dh said that if we do this, I can use the 2014 timeshare points to return to Bonnet Creek and we will do Epcot Food & Wine that year. Think he knows how to bribe me? So, last night I was looking at our flight options. Anyone spent any time in Williamsburg and have any suggestions for anything to do for people that think the whole Colonial history stuff is MAJORLY overrated? LOL The other bonus is that I booked us in a 3 bedroom unit so I am taking the small bedroom as MINE where I can hide and get online and drink my adult beverages in peace and quiet. LOL. Oh, and the master bathroom has a whirlpool tub. I may never leave the resort.

We're staying the nights of Dec. 9th & 10th. DH and I, maybe Sarah and her BF too. We have stayed at Park Vue Inn the last 3 times. I've been searching sites for a good price but they seem to be high everywhere. We may stay somewhere else if I can find a better deal. Sarah gets back from her cruise on Sunday and I'm going to have her look too. She always finds great deals.
