So relieved to hear that!:hug::banana::hug::banana:

:rotfl:

YAY! And what a great 18th birthday gift! To be able to go on the Diva trip is like a right of passage you know. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Sorry I'm MIA so much. I don't post a lot because, well, I have nothing to post about. No trips, no job, no fun stuff, nothing exciting. I could post about boring, drepressing, or maddening crappy stuff, but what fun is there in that? :goodvibes

Btw - I loved the music to ElecTRONica when I heard it last year on the way out of the park. It just makes me want to dance. :cool1:
Hey silly!

I usually don't have anything of importance to post either. But I still come on to say HI and what not. Mostly what not! LOL!:rotfl:

My meeting went better than I was expecting. Basically, the issue is that the lesson plans I am following suite the teacher who wrote them - I teach differently. She has been going so slow that my class has 2 days of nothing to do while we wait for her to catch up. Our department head wants me to write my own lesson plans that cover the same material and focus on the issues my class needs help with. That should sort out any problems. He had nothing bad to say about me or my teaching skills - just that our plan wasn't working the way we thought it would. :goodvibes

I went to the Aqua Ball last night - a benefit to build a well in Malawi. It had all the awkwardness of a junior high dance. I had a moderate about of fun, but at least my dress was pretty! Tonight I am going roller skating and then next weekend I will be off to Fort Bragg to spend some time camping with my parents and family friends. I love it there - cold weather and the smell of the ocean....ahhhhhh :cloud9:
Wow. So happy to hear that everything is cool! :cool1:

Also, everyone know that it's the dress that counts, right? :rotfl:

Conrgats on your good news, Katie. Hope all the kinks get worked out quickly and easily for you.

I've been reading along, but not posting much. My life is just not that interesting but .. my husband just got a new job after over a year of unemployment. We are ecstatic! I loved having him home, but we are both thrilled about his new job.

I'm heading for WDW tomorrow night and will be there until Thursday. Meeting up with Dagny & Lauren who were both on the inaugural DIS Diva trip. (4 years ago? 5?) I'm looking forward to seeing them again. I'll be missisng Jill, who is usually my trusty roommate for WDW. :( I'll be thinking of you, Jill! I'll try to post updates on facebook for those who like to 'follow along', but I'm a terrible mobile facebook poster. I promise to give it a try.

Oh! And last weekend Mary Jo, her daughter Kelly, Tink 33 (Lesley) and I took our second top 10 finish at Mouse Adventure. :cool1: It was the first time our entire team had been able to do MA together for over a year. Someone was always missing for the last few - until this time, and we rocked it. The halloween decorations were up and the park looks great. Hope everyone going soon has a great time.

I'll 'talk' to you all next week sometime when I'm back. (try not to post 4 pages a day, ok? :lmao:) :surfweb:
Chris,

Congrats on your win at MAs!
Have a great time at WDW! Say HI to Lauren and Dagny!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am having a nice quiet Saturday, cool and a little rainy on this first day of October. I have a job interview on Monday, a part time job that I can mostly do at home and includes health insurance so it would be a great situation if it pays enough. I am perfectly qualified for it so really hoping it works out! I would love to still be able to watch my grandson one day a week while having a job, and not have to explain to someone why I need so many days off to go to Disney! ;)

So excited about seeing some of you in 3 weeks! :dance3:

Good evening, ladies!!!

So glad to see it's been quiet here. I haven't been online all day until now. Spent the day cleaning out the garage, and putting up some indoor Halloween decorations. I am so tired now!

Last night we lost power for almost two hours and without the fan on, I wasn't able to fall asleep very easily. Hopefully tonight will be a better night.

Congrats to your husband on his new job!! That's great news!

Have fun in WDW. Say hello to Dagny and Lauren. I wonder if they remember me from the WDW trip back in 2006? I think we were all at those long banquet tables together in the Grand Floridian buffet.

And congrats on the MA top 10 finish!! Hope Lesley is doing well.

Yay for a better than expected meeting.
And I want cold weather and the smell of the ocean too!!!!! :sad1:

Have fun!

I love your halloween costume ideas.
It is fun finding creative ideas. Yeah, we know you can't make this trip, but there will be others. Give it a few years, then try again! :)

Me, too! lol I just jabber away about nothing. lol

Thinking good thoughts for you!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Happy weekend everyone!! Not much going on here, I'm trying to have a relaxing weekend. I actually wore my glasses out in public today. That's the first time ever!! I'll have to post a pic of me in my glasses so you guys can see how smart I look ;).

Also, I went to my son's Football game last night and it was P-A-C-K-E-D!!! It was the homecoming game and they actually had a huge firework show which surprised me!! They didn't do stuff like that when I was in HS.

They played great and beat one of LA's top ranked teams. Upland 38, Loyola 23. My sons team is now 5-0 and I LOVE watching him play!! It's very exciting and it makes me wonder wear he gets his talent from :confused3. Obviously not me .

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Good luck on your job interview :wizard:!

Howdy all! Quiet day around here. Working on getting a few projects done around the house and yard since the weather is downright pleasant. LOL More of the same planned for tomorrow. Jen, are you running Urban Cow tomorrow?

Carol~ Good luck on your interview!

Katie~ Congrats for your son's team. I hope my boys play someday :)

Jen, are you running Urban Cow tomorrow?

:rotfl: umm....no. I have decieded that the only 1/2's I will run anymore will be Disney ones and those keep filling up before I can buy my entry. I am running the Warrior Dash and the Mud Run, both the last weekend of this month. They are muddy obstacle course races and I am super excited about doing those

Now to go start my massive to-do list since yesterday became too busy to even check off one item :laundy:

A few pictures from yesterday. The rest are on Facebook.
One Diva sighting, Stacierita !
It was my first time to go on Gay Days and it was really fun!

Congratulations Cazalet!!! That's awesome. I miss seeing you on VMK.

:car:

Another weekend gone by too quickly!! Hope y'all had a good one. Nighty night. :cloud9:

Why does it seem like everyone is going to DL this month but me? :sad1: I wish I could fit in a trip before February, but it is looking bleak. I am twitching from withdrawls of missing a Halloweeny DL and pumpkin goodies. My lack of chocolate around this house isn't helping either. Can someone send me a mug of whatever that delicious looking Donald drink Trudi had?

DL withdrawals stink :sad2: FYI - it's not a drink, but a dessert (I think an apple something or other). I would send one at the end of the month, but it may be smooshed beyond recognition by then????

HAPPY MONDAY, DIVAS!!!!!

Good morning!

Disneyland was packed on Saturday night! We ended up getting there around 10:00pm after the Pirates Dinner Adventure. The fast pass line for Space Mountain was almost an hour!

We did Buzz, the Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain on Saturday night and came back on Sunday for the rest. Sunday wasn't as packed.

We did Haunted Mansion 2 times and I couldn't find the Monkey Bride this year. :confused3

It was a little spice cake, took it home and it was really smashed up but still tasted delish !

I know what you're saying Jen. I miss DL too, especially this time of year....and especially when I know so many of my girlfriends that I miss are going to be there. :sad1:

Yeah, post of pic of you in your glasses! I bet you look all studious and cute like. :goodvibes

That game sounds EXCITING!!! Congrats to the team!

I know, I know. I really should stop in to say hello. And trust me, your what not is a lot more interesting than my what not.

Here's a boring bit of what not that I never told anyone - I got all my hair chopped off a few weeks back. Exciting isn't it? Not! :bored:

Me, too! lol I just jabber away about nothing. lol

I know you do, and you keep torturing me with your jabbering on about your baking and scrumptous goodies. It's quite evil of you.

I feel the same way Jen. I am just dying to go for Halloween or even Christmas but I just don't see it happening.
