Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Afternoon All,

I'm not worried about the VIP tour at all. I figure I will be at Town Hall or where ever it is you normally meet for tours at least 15 mins early. Other than that, I'll just go with the flow. It will be a nice surprise.

For four hours we get a little trivia, someone to get us FPs to use later that night, some special seating arrangements to be used at some point during the trip and whatever else Lesley & the CMs decide from our wish list.

I'm there until late Monday, so if we have to split a special viewing of a parade or something into two different days, I can take the second day.

As for paying Lesley, she'll be sure to contact us all when she wants the money. I really have no worries on that part.

This trip is about seeing & riding what I can and having fun with the ladies while we walk, stand in line or wait for it to pass us by. I can have fun and chat while I am doing other things. It doesn't have to be during a meal. There is a lot of time to wait in lines to get a chance to talk to anyone and everyone. (Mousefest at WDW is great practice for this type of thing. lol)

Gosh, I still need to buy park hoppers. I better get on that.

I hope my foot keeps up with all that walking and standing we'll be doing. I went for a short walk yesterday just to see what my foot would do, and I have to say, after about a 1/4 mile, my foot was really starting to hurt. Well, hopefully by the time our trip rolls around, it'll be good to go for the duration.

Hey Capri, you can always join the scooter patrol. I think there were two or three people using or thinking of using one during the trip. The more of you the better. We can use you to part the sea of people as we go from ride to ride!

Ah, you're so sweet.

Let's see, with the 2 free strollers you can get with your Visa, and the 2 free strollers I can get with my Visa, that'll be 4 strollers......yep, just about what I'd need to fit my chubby hind quarter.

Luckily I've got just over a month for my foot to completely heal and get back in shape for some serious walking. That's why I'm starting to take small walks now. Kinda like rehab for my foot to get it ready. And really, after such a long winter, it's just nice to get outside in the fresh air for a stroll around the neighborhood.

Well I'm up the road at Edwards, but I didn't get them...That's pretty funny. I need to check that one or the one in Lancaster in a week or two.

At my HD, there is not lime green, but there are 2 other ones that are close, sonic boom and alien green. I confiscated about 15 of each color

I think the "alien green" is actually the official "lime green" color that is used on disBoards--read that in another thread! I still have to get to Home Depot (tried to get DBF to do it and he just looked at me like I was crazy . . . . . )

Hey everyone.

I've been busy, busy, busy the last few days. I spent all day yesterday doing my dreaded TAXES!!! I've been putting it off and putting it off, but I could put it off no longer. (gulp) I thought for sure we'd end up owing (that's why I was putting it off ) but magically we're actually getting a little back.

Today I have to pick up my 8 year old from school after first recess. (I made him a deal that I would pick him up early today.....don't ask. ) Then after I bring him home, I have to go over to my parents to clean their house. Then I have to go grocery shopping, and then I get to come home and cook dinner.
