T-shirt update:

Well ladies, I talked to CustomInk yesterday about our lime green Mickey Heads on our shirts. I received a call back today, and we won't be able to have the Mickey Head on our shirts (which I kinda thought would be the case). She said not only could they get in trouble, but so could the DisBoards for using an "actual" Disney image to advertise their website.

So, I can just leave the back of the shirts blank which will shave a dollar or two off the cost for everyone, depending on how many are ordered. (I already took the back design off in the link I PMed everyone regarding shirt orders.)

Or I could put something else back there if you all really want something on the back.

Anyone want to offer me any feedback about this?:listen: :duck:

Blank is fine with me, too.

Good morning Disney babes!:woohoo:

Okay, blank it is!:thumbsup2

Waiting for orders from some of you...........(cough)...........:surfweb: ...............:rolleyes1

On another note, during our trip, my friend Cathy will probably be leaving me for the day on Saturday. (The big wig is flying back to Washington to play in a golf tournament with her biggest client, and then flying back to California that evening. :cool2: ) Must be nice to just do stuff like that. Anyway, I'll probably be like some annoying sucker fish piggy-backing on a few of you at the parks on Saturday. Just thought I should warn you in advance 'cause I'm a good friend like that.;)

Just a question for those of you that are doing the Food and Wine Festival on Saturday night. What exactly is it? Do you just walk areound and get samples or do you have to sign up and pay for certain things? I lloked at the website but I guesss I still don't get it.

I'm not doing F&W since I don't drink, but I thought this might be one of the events they were going to do:

Festival Wine Receptions

Enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars, sampling exquisite wines and enjoying mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres. Discover a new favorite vintage as you mingle with fellow wine enthusiasts. The enchanted evening concludes with a front row view as Disney's Electrical Parade glides by the Golden Vine Winery.

Dates: Friday and Saturday, April 11, April 12, April 18, April 19, April 25 and April 26
Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Lower Patio of the Golden Vine Winery
Price: $55 per person (including tax and gratuity, no discounts apply)

Theme Park admission to Disney's California Adventure® Park is required and is not included in the event price. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event. Parade performances subject to change or cancellation without notice. Advanced reservations are required.

Because someone said something about being able to eat all the hors d'oeuvres you wanted and about seeing the parade. I don't know. I'm just guessing. :confused3

I know at WDW they have booths set up that you can just walk around and pay for sample size portions of different foods at each booth.

Maybe someone else can offer you more info since I haven't been paying much attention to it. :)

Oh, OK. I won't be doing the $55 meal. Maybe the pay as you go samples though.

Yeah... Im not doing it either! Are you doing any of the other meals?

Well I'm coming in on Friday so my mom and I will probably eat in DTD on Friday night because we are not going in to the parks on Friday (just getting a 2 day hopper for Sta. and Sun.) Maybe HOB on Saturday. I need to look at the menu again. I'll let you know!

Well, like I said, I'm not sure that's the one they were talking about. :confused3 It's the only one I see with the unlimited hors d'ouerves. :confused3

I think the samples are better, unless they are really pricey and you plan to sample a lot. Then that could add up pretty quick, kwim?

I heard the samples in WDW were between $3-$6 each. That seems high to me for just a bit of something. Not sure how the CA Food and Wine compares to the WDW one though.

Hopefully someone who's done it before can share their experiences.

I know I should! Actually everytime we go we usually get in free because 2 of DBF's cousins work there. Plus my DSis's BF works for the studios and he can get people in for free too and he gets discounts tickets too. I think he is going to meet my mom and I on Satuday morning and buy our hoppers for us. We didn't want to make him come down both mornings just to get us in.

Are you gals going to be watching the Electric Parade Saturday night after dinner?

Capri~ Blank on the back of the shirt is also fine with me :thumbsup2 .

Also you can hang out with me Saturday if you want ;) . I won't be bringing anyone during the trip so I'm also looking for some ladies to "piggy-back" on since I really don't like to do stuff alone :upsidedow.

Beth~ The samples at Disneyland are also $3-$6 each, but there are a lot less offered than Epcot. But DCA also offers free sessions for cooking demos and wine/beer tasting. Durings these you get free samples of whatever they are demonstrating. Last year I did one on avocados, chocolate and lemons. They are fun and free. They offer about 5-10 demos throughout the day.

Thanks Katie. I'd be thrilled to hang with you girl!

I dunno... I hadnt thought about it. Ill bet some of us will cruise over there after dinner.

That would be great if someone wanted to watch it with me. I've never seen it before.

I would love to have dinner at HOB on Saturday. Could you add me to the list?:flower3:

Katie, did you see my post the other day thanking you for the passes? I just wanted to make sure you knew I got them.

Thanks again!!!!!!! :goodvibes
