Too funny! But remember, anyone with anything less than a premium pass will be blocked out on Saturday. Even the Deluxe pass is blocked on the Saturday. I'm debating about whether to buy a block out ticket for that day or not.
I just wanted to give folks a heads up about that, especially if they are planning the F&W reception for that Saturday night. You will need park admission to get into that event. Also, you can stay at the reception site and have a nice view of the electrical parade while sipping your wine!

Have any of you done the Mickey's Halloween Treat at DCA?

We went last year in October but to me it didn't seem worth the extra money.

I'm planning out the trips for this year and we want to go back in October before our passes expire. Most likely we won't be renewing them.

So I was wondering if we should try the party or not? Is it worth it or is it basically glorified trick-or-treating?
It will be over $100 for the 6 of us. Would we be better of spending that money on a character meal or something?

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!!

We really like it, and have gone twice. There is the trick or treating, and the characters... Which is fun, also the decorations, and rides have really low lines. We were planing on going again this year, but that is obviously going to have to wait until the next year! For us its just really a really special thing for the kids to get to go Trick or Treating at DL, KWIM?

The preferred seating area only holds 20 people. The only way we can be assured seating is if we split up and do it on different nights.

OKay ladies, I have something to post that makes me very sad but isn't entirely unexpected.

I won't be going on the trip in April.

I know I've mentioned in the past various reasons why I might not be able to. We also have a week-long trip to California in June that we have to take since it's for my FIL and MIL's b-days and we are expected to be there.

The two trips are just too close together and we can't do both.

Obviously I am very disappointed that I won't get to meet you all. Really, I've been to DL so many times that I could care less about that. I was looking forward to hanging with all you crazy ladies!!! That's what sucks the most.

But on the other hand, I am so happy that this is working out. We've got a great group signed up. Many of you have stepped up and volunteered to help make reservations, and to organize various aspects of the trip.

I have no doubt that it's going to be great and you are all going to have an amazing time!!! Heck, you'll be having so much fun you won't even miss me.

AND I am hoping that this won't be a one time deal. Now that we've been chatting here and forming friendships, and once you've all gone on the trip, I hope that this Girls Only Trip will be something we can do again.

So, I just wanted to make it official. Any of you that have my name on your list will you please remove it. Thank you.

Nah, I think everyone's plans are pretty set. At least the ones who post here. I have a few on the front page that I haven't seen or heard from in a loooong time. So who knows.

It's kind of to be expected to lose some though. When we did the WDW Ladies only Trip, we had over 45 signed up then too and in reality I think only 30 showed up.

I don't want to lose anyone, but at the same time, it will be fun even if it ends up being a smaller group. kwim?
