Cute baby on the ultrasound...my DD was small at birth compared to your bruisers!! She was only 7lb 6 oz, but was 3 weeks early, so she had some growth to go.
Okay...to add to the poll about shaving. I am a swimmer. I think I have shaved my legs EVERY day since I was about 15!! I cannot stand stubble, drives me batty. During all those years I would bet that you could count the days I have skipped on two hands!!!

My DD was 7lbs.11oz and she was a week early. Believe me I thought she was big enough. Heather you are amazing!
I am not a swimmer like you but I shave my legs everyday because I don't like stubble either.
Good Morning all!
I found Vicki at MA! Well, at least I found her on a video.
They posted a video of some of the start, and there she is!
Go to this link, and you can see her smiling face at 43 seconds.
Ooh, I saw her!! Nice ears, Vicki!!!
But did you see the ears on Mr. CA??
Good Morning Divas!
And our dinner with Vicki and family was lovely. The kids were sweet and cute and very well behaved. Michael kept scrunching up his hat in different ways and putting it on his head so every time I looked at him it was random on his head. He is so cute I could barely refrain from pinching his checks and hugging him. And Sara is a lovely young lady who takes AP classes and plays the flute. Busy girl she is.

And of course Vicki brought us a gift. Delicious homemade pumpkin gingerbread and a mini Rosa Regale. After my own heart this friend is - oh yeah!

Donna - you were sorely missed and we must plan a gathering again.
Linda we all really enjoyed our dinner with you, Bree and your DH. After a long, wet day it was nice to sit and have a nice relaxing dinner. Thank you for the nice words you said about the kids...I shared that with Bob. They were bored stiff with all of our adult conversation but they were troopers. Your DH looks amazing for what he has been going through and good thoughts are being sent to you all that he will continue to have good news! And as always it was nice to see Bree...seeing her makes me miss my DD so much! I wish they had not cancelled the firewords so we could have watched them together, what a great vantage point that is.
I have a phone interview in 20 minutes and should not be DISing. Oh well. Let's hope it goes well.
My parents arrived today. Crazy to see my family here. They are staying next door in a B&B sort of place which is perfect because we can have them over for dinner and then they can go back to their own space. My brother and his two teenage kids come tomorrow. My niece and nephew will be staying here. So far, lots of fun!
OK, got to go prep for the interview. One final chance to get job with my company that's trying to lay me off. Here's hoping this interview works out!
Happy Holidays everyone!
I hope your interview went well!
Enjoy your family and the holidays! I am sure it is just idyllic there this time of the year! My parents will be here next week for Christmas and I will finally get to see their pictures of when the were in Switzerland. Can't wait!
MouseAdventure was awesome, but we wimped out in the rain. Kind of embarrasing, since we are from Oregon, and we didn't even stay to turn anything in. Rob's shoes got soaked riding Splash (about half way through the ride, I said, "I'll bet we didn't even have to ride to find the answer" and I was right) so he was not comfortable. Trying to do everything in the rain and not being able to find a spot to rest and dry out just got tiring and we weren't having fun any more so we went back to our hotel. We agreed that it would have been a lot of fun under different circumstances; we were already pretty tired by Saturday and were not prepared for the intensity. Maybe next time!
I'm so glad we went to the Billy show - I try to see it every time we are there. I can certainly understand the attraction; he's hot! We definitely need to put this on the schedule.
Hi Karyl! I knew that had to be you when I saw you at breakfast and I couldn't wait to come over and say hi! It was a wet and sometimes miserable day but we stuck it out to the end! The kids actually loved the rain and never complained. We too rode Splash Mt. but it was later in the day and we were already drenched so thought why not and then to find out we didn't even need to ride it...well I was just glad we did find the answer after getting even wetter on the ride!
We saw BillyHill too...I never get tired of that show. During our show when they lower the Charlie Brown type Christmas tree or are supposed to lower the tree, it got stuck in the curtain and would not come down so they improvised and it was so funny watching them dance around the tree that was stuck in the curtain.
This week is just crazy but aren't they all? We have two band events Wed. and Thurs., Fri. I want to finish the shopping, Sat. we are going out to dinner for my Christmas party for work...they gave those of us that don't live near an office $100 and told us to take whomever we wanted to dinner. Mr. CA and I are going to the Melting Pot in Thousand Oaks...should be fun, and then Sun. we have an open house at a friends home in the mountains. And then zoom it'll be Christmas before we know it!!
Hi to everyone!
