I want this week to be over already. We have some fun things planned for the weekend and I am ready to get on with them!!

OOOH, what kind of fun things?

My dad is stable. The doctors are trying to figure out why his white and red blood cell count is so low....they are suspicious he is bleeding out somewhere. They did an endoscopy (sp?) on him yesterday, but found nothing, so now they are talking about doing a colonoscopy and possibly getting a bone marrow sample.

And finally--a question: should I live on the wild side or shouldn't I? I have a dilemma. that's all I can say.

You are soooo mysterious ! I hope we can get the juicy details soon.

Yay Courtney! Great news on the GC! I too won a GC from my work today for signing up the most Consortia particpants and I am not a sales person so it is fun to win these kinds of things! I'm saving mine to buy a Dooney and Bourke Disney purse when I go to WDW in Feb.

Just checking in before heading to take a nap. I went to bed at 5am again and had my final at 9:30am. I'm going to snooze for about an hour or so and study for my accounting final. I'm making sure I'm in bed by 11pm tonight because my final is at 7am! Afterward I think I'll come back and nap a bit before heading to Disneyland to relieve some stress!

OOOH, what kind of fun things?

Friday we'll go to the movies. My SIL and I will take the older kids to see Have You Heard About the Morgans? And Ruben and his parents will take the twins to see the Princess and the Frog. Then we'll all go out to dinner.

Saturday we'll go to the park. My SIL is very athletic and she'll take the kids to play tennis. Then we'll all decorate sugar cookies. Then off to see the Bellagio conservatory all decked out for Christmas. Have lunch, and end the night at the Springs Preserve Winter Lights Festival. (Jane, are you going to this at some point? http://www.springspreserve.org/html/visit_events_winterlights.html )

Sunday plans will depend on what time they have to leave. Nothing super amazing, but it will all be fun to hang out with family.

I have been in contact with the HOB regarding the gospel brunch and here is what I have found out.

You can book as far in advance as you'd like. Please at least book 1 week in advance.

Tickets are non-refundable, so once you purchase you cannot get your money back. I reccommend having your exact count before purchasing.

You eat for the first hour, and the buffet is the second hour. (It's from 10-12) You would want to come about 10 minutes early to get your tickets from Will Call and seating begins immediately at 10am.

If you end up needing less than 10 you will need to purchase through the Box Office.


Right now we have exactly 10. The price per person is $36 which includes the performance, buffet, non-alcoholic beverages and gratuity. Through a group the $2 service charge is waived. I haven't done this before but was thinking that if everyone who is going to go would mail me the $36 and once I got the money I could go ahead a book us...if all 10 are in I will book as a group and if not I will book through the box office for however many sent me the money. Any of you who have done this type of thing before let me know if there is a better way of doing it please!

T shirts--I am crafty. I do not have a color printer. I will be happy to iron on for anyone who will print transfers for me. Actually I will first ask my DH what he has at work.

I shave my legs if I am wearing shorts or a skirt--otherwise we go "au natural"

I so despise shaving. That I only do it about once a week, if I know I will be wearing something showing my legs, or if I will be watching tv. Other than that I hate shaving. First off, my "girls" make it hard for my to get all my leg anyway. i always end up with a few patches. And when I was in high school, I had to shave every day for cheer, so once that part of my life was over, I didn't want to waste time shaving. So right now I got me lots of stubble. And since there will be no tv watching this weekend I probably won't shave until Christmas Day.

Ok, so I am starting to freak out that I only have one week at my job left. I have so much to do. Have to delegate my responsibilities to others, make sure all the reports are done, finish up a ton of paper work. Plus I have to make sure all the files on my staff are up to date and everything is in order. Have to find people to cover my meetings and stuff. Then I still need to pack up my office. Ive been here 5 1/2 years so I have a lot of junk to bring home. ACK!!! And only one week to do it all. I feel an anxiety attack coming on.

I'm in 15D on the way down (aisle seat -- LONG legs!) And I think Kelly and her mom were arriving at around the same time, so we could share a taxi van or shuttle with them. I've recently read a change in the flat fare agreements at SNA, so I'll do some research first to make sure we don't spend more than we should.
