I'm the other Cheryl. LOL!! I am really glad I got to go and meet some girls. I had a really great time even though I wasn't there long. I can't wait to do it again and next time I will be there earlier.

I just wanted to stop in and say hello real quick. End of the year here at school is always so busy.

Sounds like you girls had a fun weekend! My computer crashed, so I am so behind on everything! I am currently on a computer in the library, so I can check email and the Dis.

And I am perfectly happy to share my boyfriend with Callie, as long as she knows he's all mine when we go back to DLR next month.

Dog the Bounty Hunter and Family were at Disneyland yesterday (when I was there with Callie, Linda and Stacie) and I didn't see them!!!!!!!

Ahhhh.....toocherie, I would have love to have seen them. SEE MY TAGS!!! ::yes::

LOL--actually, I don't think he's all that creepy . . . and actually . . . I admire his wife more than him . . .

I did enjoy his show until the "incident" . . . . and will probably watch it when it comes back this Fall. I'm a reality show junkie.

Love your tags!

Hi Cheryl!

Nice mini TR for your mini meet!!! :goodvibes

How is your Mom?

How is your Mom?

She is doing fantastically. Obviously it is quite apparent that she has had major surgery (and will be obvious for some time) as the skin on the transplant area looks different--but the scar is healing really well and other than that she is feeling great--thanks for asking!

You're welcome, and glad to hear she is doing well.:goodvibes

My Mom has been sick for over 3 weeks now, and I think she is finally getting better. She is 84, and it really knocked her down. I was beginning to wonder if this was it, as she was so ill. But thankfully she is feeling better and better each day, but is still quite weak.

Did you get all of your ADRs done for WDW? What did you choose finally?

Hi girls! I've been reading, but haven't posted much. Steph, I'm so glad things are going better .. lots of pixie dust to you for quick healing for this and the next surgery.

I had such a good time at the mini-meet. It was very cool because the same weekend, I had 3 different groups of friends from FLA coming to DLR too! Woo Hoo! So that was added incentive to get a quest together for everyone to enjoy. I went up to DCA on Friday to double check what I had already written for the quest and ACK! found they had removed the Snow White exhibit. So I did some more research so I could replace the now defunct Snow White quests and then met up with my friends for the afternoon and had a great time.

When I finally got home, I completely shuffled the quests. Took some out and ended up writing a few new ones. It seems that the quest I wrote after 1 am didn't make as much sense the next day as it seemed to that night. :confused3 I was surprised that it was 2 am before I finally crawled into bed. Saturday morning found me at Kinko's printing up the quests and after an hour plus drive back to Disneyland, I met up with my friends for lunch and we enjoyed the parks until it was 4:00, almost time for the quest. We ended up with 6 teams of players. Teams were anywhere from 2-4 players, and I staggered the start. That really made it so much easier on me for grading, I think I'll do that again. The DIS girls team (Cheryl, Katie and Adara) did great and came in 4th! It was so nice to see Beth partway through. She got a hold of Cheryl and joined their team and off they went. I think everyone had a good time, and there were prizes for all! I had a fun time making the quest, the others will have to tell you if they had fun actually doing it.

After the quest we (Cheryl, Kate, Adara and Beth) met up with the 'other' Cheryl, (bsbllmom) and January and her daughter, and all had dinner together at the Wine Country Trattoria, which I just love. Then I got on the road for the hour plus drive home while they all enjoyed the electric light parade.

Today, (Monday) I won tickets for the AP preview of Toy Story Mania, so I met up with Roxanne and Carol and Eric (all of whom also played the quest) and we rode TSM 4 times! They had ridden it 3 times before I even got there. This ride is SUCH A BLAST!! woo hoo! It will be a huge park favorite.

I can't believe I've been up to the parks 3 times in the last 4 days. It was so fun meeting up with friends old and new. But with the gas prices, I think it would have just been cheaper to stay up there. Still I wouldn't have missed any of it for the world! Can't wait to meet with the DIS girls again.

Wow! It sounds like so much fun!! What alot of work!! You must have been exausted the next day, after staying up so late. No wonder one of them didn't make much sense.......................your brain must have been on overload then.

Maybe this would be a fun thing for our ladies trip next March. If it didn't take too much work for so many??

LOL, I'm sure if I recruit Mary Jo and Lesley the quest in March will be great!

And in my own defense on this last quest... The quest that I had a problem with just had a missing sentence, and an extra letter. I called all the teams during the quest and gave them the corrections when I discovered it, so it wasn't a big deal. (phew!) But it was funny how it all seemed to make sense at 1:30 am, and I didn't discover the error until the quest was under way. Next time, I'll make sure someone proofs it. :thumbsup2 Are you sure you still want to do this in March??

Chris, Yes, Yes!!!:thumbsup2 I am sorry I missed it this time.

If you need any help, let us know. We have plenty of time to plan some really cool things for our trip.;)

Remember girls, we also saw Bob Saget and family while waiting for the train ride. Actually, was it just DD, DBF & myself? Anyway, he was surrounded by people and had two plaids with him. He was a lot taller and thinner than I thought he would be. Interesting. You never know who you will see at DL.

I can't wait to ride TSM tomorrow! Yippee!:dance3:

The mini-meet sounded SOO fun! I would LOVE to meet up with some ladies when I'm down w/the fam in October! I might end up with a couple spare hours thanks to my DMIL crashin' our vaca! (see PTR for explanation!) But the quest sounded very much fun! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone. I started a new position yesterday (same company) and I'm super busy. Talk to you all later. Bye!

Hi ladies!!

Good luck in your new position Sarah. Now you'll be even more of a drive by girl!! LOL ;)

I'm just saying hi before heading off to get ready for the day. I've been packing things up as today we check out and after a day at the parks, we'll be heading off to MIL's house.

I ran into Stacie, her DDs, Callie and her DD yesterday. They were on their way to White Water Snacks to take a break from the stinkin heat and horrible crowds!!!!!!! OMG, it was nasty yesterday.

Took us over 15 minutes to get through the security check point. And the lines for everything were so long. 90 minutes for Splash. 80 for Indy (which broke down at one point). Over an hour for Buzz. All long lines like that.

We just hung out and did things we'd never done like the Billy Hill show, the new Indy show, etc. Then after the parade in the evening it just seemed to clear out and the rest of the night was cool and not busy at all. Weird.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi before we head off. Talk to ya'll in a few days! :)

Hi everyone!
I got home late last night from DL. It was fun but hot and crowded. It was really nice meeting the other gals at the mini-meet. I didn't know the details on the scavenger hunt...I think I missed the memo.:rotfl: But, DD was napping anyways so I would not have been able to go. Wine Country Trattoria was really good! DD had the kids pasta and I have the Vegetable Lasagna. Everyone just chit chatted and had a nice meal. We said goodbye to Katie, her DD, and Chris and headed to the Electrical Parade. After that we said bye to Cheryl (toocherie) and Beth, Cheryl, me and DD went for a stroll to check out the que for TSM. It looks fun! I am looking forward to trying it out someday. I entered to lottery for APers to ride but didn't get picked. :( After that, Cheryl went home and Beth went back to her room. It was a really nice evening. I am looking forward to meeting more of you ladies in March.:woohoo:

Hi Ladies! Well, after a whirlwind trip, we're home and getting unpacked and settled in. My dh made me dinner, is currently doing my laundry, and just brought me a big glass of ice water (yeah, I know what he's expecting later:hyper: ), so I'm ready to post some highlights:

Saturday night: Got into Anaheim about 6:30 pm and went directly to Character Warehouse where we bought a few things. We went to the hotel that Stacie had reserved through Expedia. It was the Ramada Limited on Harbor and was pretty much a dive motel with really thin walls. But hey, it was SUPER cheap, so we didn't complain (much). ;) We all agreed, not a place we will stay at again. Then we went to Red Robin to eat dinner and had really bad service. It was late, we were tired and hungry and they ignored us. Won't be going back there again either.

Sunday morning: Too early! 5 am wake up to meet Cheryl at the DL gates at 6:30 am for MM. I can't thank Cheryl enough for sharing her MM with us. We had a great time with an empty park that first hour. We hit, Peter Pan, Toad, Alice, Teacups, Buzz and Kendall and I rode Space twice and then grabbed FPs for later. Stacie and her dd's did Nemo during MM, and then went on Matterhorn. Then Kendall and I went on Matterhorn while Stacie and girls and Cheryl went on Buzz. We planned to meet at King Triton's statue after. Kendall and I finished first and I had Kendall wait by King Triton while I scoped out the Castle for White Vests. Sure enough, I spotted them on the left side near the Carnation Plaza stage area. I sprinted fast as I could back to Kendall yelling her name the whole way. Then I saw Stacie and yelled "Hurry! Hurry!" They knew exactly why I was yelling so they sprinted after me. We all got Dream FPs. I had to take several minutes to recover after running and all that excitement.

Then we got coffee from the cart in the hub. I got an almond latte, which was decent for Nestca-crap. While the ladies were drinking their coffee and eating some pastries, Kendall and I ran to City Hall to get her birthday button. As we were in line, I heard someone in front of us asking about the Lilly Belle, so I thought "what the heck?" and decided to ask for Kendall's birthday if we could ride. The CM said absolutely and gave us a ticket and scheduled us to ride at 1 pm. PERFECT!

We then went to wait in line to see my boyfriend at the Golden Horseshoe. I was first in line for the 11:15 show so we got front row/center. Linda met us there and it was great to see her again. My beloved Kirk sang directly at me & gave me those gorgeous flashy pros-teeth-sis smiles. :lovestruc :cloud9: I was in hillbilly heaven!

Linda left us at that point to meet up with her dd before she had to start work. I honestly forget what we did after that -- probably used some of the FPs from our passes. . .oh yeah! We met up with Maynard at the Opera House! He was awesome as usual, but Kendall still thinks he's a little scary. I think Cheryl used the word "certifiable". Then we eventually met up with Linda again at the Train Station for our ride on the Lilly Belle. I really enjoyed our CM guide for the trip. His name was D.J. and was an excellent source of Walt trivia and gave us a few insights into current rumors. I told him he should be a VIP tour guide as he was much better than the one we had in April. ;) . . . . to be continued
