I was in the dollar store the other day and they had stuff for summer luau parties. They had really fun leis, coconut shell bikini tops (to go over a tee), and funny grass skirts and hats. I don't know if Disney would allow it, but how fun would it be to show up to the meal in some of those crazy items?? :rotfl:

Or we could just wear something Hawaiian themed.
It would make the pics even better. And we could wear the leis into the parks if we wanted to. Just a thought.....

Me too!!!! I missed out on sooo many last time because we were go-go-going the whole time. I've never even had a tigger tail and that was on snack was planning to get last trip but it just didn't happen :headache:

Hey! I just got back from Home Depot with my mom and DD and we walked past the paint chips and I grabbed some... Wait, they're in my back pocket.... oooo I got six. I 'm thinking button and the rest for door decor.

cute idea! it would be very fun--my experience with the characters at that breakfast is that they love to have lots of fun!

Im all for going to a nice meal too. I just don't want to make all the meals sit down TS meals. And I couldn't go without planning to do at least one character meal. I think Lilo and Stitch one sounds good to me too Steph. And if doing a TS meal, I would love to go somewhere I haven't been before.

Ok, so hypothetically speaking, since I am 'tentative' at the moment, I will speak up and say I want to at least do TS at Blue Bayou, which I know some of you ladies did last time, but I wanted to do that on this trip coming up in October, and it's becoming evident, that it will be much to expensive. So I am def. down to do one there. Also, I'm wanting to try one of the other character meals, as we'll be doing Minnie at the Plaza, and I really want to know what the other ones are like, you know, purely for future reference for family trips

I esp. like the idea of hula w/Lilo & Stitch- I'm the hula queen, and think it would be so fun! ::yes::

So I guess I'd like to have at least 2 TS and the rest CS, and I'm thinking I'll be majorly interested in the segway tour- DH would be so jealous!

Oh, and I DEF want to decorate the room doors- that would be so fun!

I love decorating my window! It is a blast!

Beth, I remember your window at CSR---you guys did an awesome job! :thumbsup2

I think that I will probably do a couple of TS meals. It is nice to have a sit-down meal without having to deal with taking my DD potty or getting her food ready to eat. I just want to relax and enjoy my meal.

Beth, can you put me down for the VIP Tour. I am still on the fence on the Walk in Walt's Footsteps. I have to see how my money situation is when we get closer. I am interested though.

One of my twins, Hannah, threw up tonight. I was afraid of this. Every freakin time we are coming up on a big vacation, I always worry about someone getting sick.
I've been making everyone wash their hands right after school, and been cleaning daily with Lysol wipes and spray, so I don't know how it happened.

I thought maybe it was just something she ate, and she'd be fine, but when I felt her head she was really hot.

Ugh, I am so bummed. Obviously because I don't want any of my kids to be sick ever, but especially now! We are all so looking forward to this vacation and the last thing we need is some kind of stomach flu making the rounds through the family.

(sigh) I'm so upset right now. I was trying to be so careful! Well, shoot. I guess all I can do now is wait and see what happens and hope for the best. I know it sounds selfish, but if we have to cancel because the family ends up getting sick, I am going to be so sad because we can't reschedule. :sad2:

Oh well, sorry for being a downer. I'm going to go pray that she feels better, and then go sulk in bed in front of the tv. Night.

You don't sound like a downer and you are not selfish. I was having the same thought yesterday when we were leaving the ER. It is normal and natural to feel that way. You have been planning this trip forever.

I hope this is a 24 hour bug and she gets to feeling better in the morning. AND, I hope that nobody else gets sick! :wizard:
