Thought I'd add one more, while I know what I'm doing.

This is Kaitlyn, my youngest going to school on Halloween Day. She got first prize for her costume. She is 15 years old now. :sad2:
IMG_1997.jpg

Did you make the costume? I never had any costumes as awesome as that! What a beautiful DTR you have.

Thankyou Heather and Beth!

Yes, those are the ornaments that have taken over my life the last few days. Actually I did them while sitting on the couch and watching TV. It wouldn't have been so bad, if I had started them like a good girl long ago, instead of waiting until the last minute. :headache:

Yes I also made the costume. And thankyou for your compliment on her. Here is another picture, of her and my other DD who is almost 26. She is a third grade teacher....the one who I'm always helping in her classroom. She teaches at the school, where she went from K to 8th grade at. She is on a first name basis with her old 1st and 3rd grade teacher now. Weird!!

:goodvibes Molly, I'm sending all the baby dust I can your way. I've had a long drawn out history including clomid in 2005, then losing 2 babies in 2007, to finally figuring out the program, and surviving two high risk pregnancies. I know how hard it can be to think you'll never have your dream com true. I wish nothing but the best for you.

I also understand how unsympathetic people can be. After I lost my second child, my SIL told me "if you get pregnant again, I don't want to know until you are in labor." It really hurt my feelings, I think it was her backwards way of telling me that she was emotionally hurt by my loss, but it still cuts me to the core when I think of it today. I need to let it go also, but it's sooo hard. When I got pregnant with Nathan, we didn't tell anyone until we had to, and even then I waited until people asked.

Now, after having 2 babies a year apart, people act like I'm the biggest you know what on earth. Everytime I say I have a headache, or just don't feel well at work, people start in on me...."you're not pregnant again are you?" So what if I am???

The morale of this story is, your damned if you have them and your damned if you don't. Some people can find ways to be rude without even trying!

  and thank you.

I think my friends were doing that "are you?" thing for the first couple years, but now I think they've mainly given up hope. But I haven't, and hubby especially hasn't!

And yes, I can imagine that some people have been awful about the 2 babies so fast. Since Eamon was a wedding-night baby I'm very sure that that incredible luck has been accidentally hurtful to people, and I can imagine that those who don't know your history have thought the same things about those two pregnancies.

I've definitely learned that in casual conversation, not deep-thoughts-open-your-heart conversation like I could get into here (not that one should be harsh in an open-heart convo, but if one is talking about reality, things can be bluntly said and not have the intention or reaction of hurt), one must be very careful.

I just wish my IRL (non-cyber-based ha ha) friends and acquaintances could be more careful with me! :upsidedow

Your girls are SO pretty.

GUESS WHAT????????????

It's snowing in Vegas! :rotfl: Well, technically it's snowing in Summerlin which is close to where we live. Our lawn, roof, trees, etc are covered in snow and it's still coming down. I couldn't believe it.

It's pretty though! The weatherman said there was a chance for snow today but I didn't believe him because they never get anything right.

I had the twins put on their heavy winter coats this morning just in case though and they both groaned and said, "Why do we have to wear those? It's not snowing Mom!" (complete with eye roll  )

Uh huh. Oh yes it is!! :rotfl2: I took a pic and I'll post it later. I hope you all are having a good day so far. :)
How coool!!! :cool1:

Hahaha good catch, actually this is totally brand new news, I recently found out, yup I am having a Disney baby! I am due in July.
CONGRATS HEATHER!!!!

Good afternoon all! Well I survived my day at work.

I went in to the doc and he said that this itching crap is just normal healing. He told me to keep taking my Meloxicam and that it IS working eventhough it doesn't SEEM like it is. BLEH. And that I need to have better posture and to keep doing my stretches and to take benadryl for the itchies. So I go back AGAIN next Monday and hopefully this will stop soon!!

Luckily I took some more meds as well and my headache is doing better so I was able to do a full day at work which I needed cuz I had a ton to do.

And Fairykin ALREADY on the Topamax! LOL Been on it for a year. I started out on the 25 mg and now I take 100 mg's a day. 50 in the morning and 50 at night. It works ok for most of the time but I found that besides all the OTHER reasons I get migraines I ALSO get hormonal migraines and thus the hormone therapy to stop AF. When I was getting the drop in estrogen during that time of the month I was getting REALLY bad migraines so now I don't get that with the hormones and that keeps things more on an even keel. But obviously if I am not careful about what I eat or if I don't sleep right or strain my neck or if it is too windy or on and on. SO many things can trigger one for me.

The topomax def helps and now the hormones but I have a LOT of triggers.

Also I got a call from the uro and my surgery is scheduled for Jan 9th. So hopefully I can get THAT prob taken care of now too!

So got LOTS accomplished today. With luck I will be almost normal by the ladies trip! ;)

Well gotta run get the girls. See ya later!
Aw!!!! My oldest DD suffers from migranes too. Has tried so many things. Hers are also connected to hormones. Take care Kelly and get better soon with your rash thing.

Beth.... i think it's a girl thing.. to always hope for their to be a special present under the tree on christmas morning. My Father is so special.. He was a police Lt. for over 35 years.. and every year he would work overtime just to buy a little piece of jewelry for my mother and me. He would have them wrapped and then hide them in the branches of the tree on christmas eve..so christmas morning they would be there. There is this little girl part of me that every year secretly looks around the branches on christmas morning for a tiny box.
I gave my husband this christmas trip with his parents and our grandchildren. And He is going to give me the girls only trip with my mother and i. I may get a bottle of wine and some cheese, crackers, olives and chocolates for christmas evening after everyone goes home..maybe a movie.. and let that be a secret present.

For some reason i always get a little sad on christmas afternoon after all the presents are opened and the family dinner is eatten, and everyone goes home. It's like.. okayyyyyy.. now what...:rotfl:
I feel the exact same way Dawn. Bittersweet kind of feeling. And how special of your father. Such a fond memorie to hold on to.

Well, I'm finally back among the living. I am delivering the last orders of candy tomorrow, and now I can finally enjoy the holiday season.
BTW, the final grand total for pounds of toffee I made since Thanksgiving is........................................................................................................................................................................................................................542!!!!!
Umm? Do you do this for a living? :worship: :worship:

And yet, none has shown up at my door. . . :confused3
::yes:: ::yes::

Yeah, it was hard on our wallet. I am just glad we had enough money to pay for them. After Christmas shopping and tires, our bank account is dry.:headache: At least we get paid on Friday! I am not giving up on the trip yet...tax return time is right around the corner.:wizard:
DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!!! You can do it!!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you. I use Wen hair care. The sweet almond mint cleansing conditioner, deep conditioner and styling creame. I love their stuff.
Sounds like good stuff. And you do make a cute couple!

Just want to wish everyone a happy holidays!!!

And my DS3 who met up with a batch of Santas in San Francisco and was just thrilled to take a picture with all of them!
santas.jpg
What a cute picture!!!:cutie:

OK, here are the snow pics for anyone interested. I took these when I first got home, around 12:30 or so. It continued to snow for another 2-3 hours, so we ended up with more then that.

DSCF6465.jpg
Looks cold!!!:cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: Buuuurrrh!!! But how fun!!!!

Beth.............notice all my multi quoting? :yay: But I did have to erase alot of images, including most of your snow pictures.

Well, now I have to show the costumes I made for my boys for Halloween! I love to sew. :lovestruc

c2lc.jpg

You can't see them in the pics, but they had name tags with their names and on the back, Nathan's said: Warning: Throws toys and the back on Nolan's said: Warning: Drools when excited.

I worked for hours on those costumes, and the only thing my family ever comments on now are the name tags! :rotfl: They were cute! :goodvibes

How cute! I am impressed as my sewing skills are limited to putting buttons back on and maybe fixing a hem that comes loose, but even then I tend to defer to the iron on hem tape!

Hello Ladies,

How is everyone? Has everyone finished their christmas shopping yet? :santa: I finished decorating my tree last Friday. Just wanted to share some pics :goodvibes :

Cute cute Pix!!!

So my cousin, Alicia, text me this morning and she said that she just had to tell me that she and her husband, Gus, are giving her mom (my aunt) and her two sisters (my little cousins) Deluxe Annual passes for Christmas. Talk about a sweet gift!!!
Now I have someone to go with, yay!!!!:goodvibes
That's wonderful Cristabel!!! :grouphug:

Good Morning everyone!

I have an idea, and I want to throw it out here. I have a digital scrapbooking program from Creative memories that includes Disney themed pages. I would love to make us a digital scrapbook after the trip. Everyone could email me their favorite photos, I could include them with the photopass pictures, and make a nice little book for us to have to remember our trip by. I think I could make CD's of the pages, and you could print them out at home, or I could have the books printed. Printing the books is not the cheapest, but they are adorable. Let me know what you all think, and if you are interested in participating, tell me, and I'll add your name to my list.

Talk with you all later! Oh, and the Speech Therapist is finally going to make it to our house tomorrow. I'm anxious to get the 'show on the road'. I already know from the Developmental Specialist that visited 2 weeks ago, that my son qualifies for services. I'm just now waiting for an actual diagnosis and word from the experts on how behind they feel he is. They are also reccomending that an Occupational Therapist treat him also due to weakened mouth and tongue muscles. (I always thought his sticking out his tongue all the time was a quirk, not a sign of poor muscle tone-the nurse in me felt really stupid for missing this. :guilty: ) I just hope my little man gets the help he needs.

Heather
Heather, I love the scrapbook idea. I just hope I can keep up with it.

I hope your visit with the therapist goes great.

Morning everyone! I hope everyone is staying warm, it sure is cold where I am.

I love all the new pictures! Disney ornaments are my favorite, they always make me happy.

Just a little update: My mom called Disneyland for Priority Seating for the BB in February. She asked when pirates would be down and the CM said Jan 5 - Feb 14. So it should be open for our March trip. Of course that's subject to change and as of right now, the Disneyland calender doesn't show that it will be down; but if you had your heart set on going to the BB in March, your chances just got better!

Hope everyone is having a great day so far! :goodvibes
Yay!! Pirates and BB will be open it sounds like!! :yay:

Also, wish me luck that the weather changes for the better in the next couple of days. We are leaving for CA on Saturday afternoon and have a long drive through the mountain pass that was closed yesterday. Dave will be driving and he is a very good driver, but I am not always the best passenger, especially in bad weather. I don't care if it rains while we are at DLR (60% chance as of right now for 2 of the days of our trip) but I really hope that we can hit good weather for the trip there and back!
Jane, my DH was making a haul over the Cajon Pass yesterday, and it closed up on him. Luckily he was able to turn around, and go throught the desert the other direction over on the 14. Way out of the way, but at least he got through.

Well, that's nice you found something that works. I'm still searching. My problem is my hair is thinning and I lose lots of it daily. First the docs told me it was stress, but now they say it's just hereditary since my Mom and Grandma both have thin hair. I'm thinking of just getting a wig!! LOL
If this is a real problem, you might have your thyroid level checked.

Beth, you have such a lovely view! When I look out my window I see my neighbors empty, dirty pool that has some screen doors chillin' in it :confused3 and I see my neighbors house that is two doors down. Then to the right there is a elementary school. The view out my bedroom window in Lake Tahoe is much prettier though, so that makes up for it. :goodvibes
Oooh...................Lake Tahoe!!! So pretty!!! :cloud9:

I HATE my camera. It takes the worst indoor photos. So please forgive the lack of quality, but here's my tree and my puppy:

tree.jpg

joviegreen.jpg
It is not a bad picture!!! Cute tree and skirt. Cute dog too! :cutie:

Thank you everyone for the congrats!! It is pretty exciting :woohoo:
Congrats again!

All your talk of views out your windows makes me want to see photos of your views!! I have a one story and not much to show for it, unless I REALLY try hahaa! So I want to live vicariously through you guys heheeh!
Here is my view from my house. I look onto the Sierras

OMG Christmas is in 8 days, and im not done shopping. I'm in spaz out mode. I'm still hopping to get in on the segway tour. Is there any spots left for club 33? My father n law is high up on the wait list they say he should get a membership soon but who knows, if there any open spots I would LOVE to join you ladies. I am hoping to get to meet with you guys atleast even if it's just a hello i'm Jen Lostgirlz.
Hi Jen! Nice to see you again. I asked you one time, if you lived in Hawaii. Do you?

Heather, I'm also on the Segway tour, so as long as that is taken into account, I'll eat whenever. I am soooo going with the flow this trip. Just hangin out with y'all and enjoying the time with friends. (I have to keep repeating this to myself so I don't go commando on y'all!) :lmao:
Me too!!! :rolleyes1

Heather I'm still catching up, and in between caught these pictures!! These are just adorable!!!!
Looks like you did a great job!! And look at the paws!! They look soooooooo cozy!! I might keep these in mind if I make some costumes next year for my Grandsons!

Yea! I'm going to be celebrating my 40th birthday (it's on the 11th, but I was planning on getting a birthday pin that Sunday.)
40!!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

I was just going to say that! I wonder if any of the rest of us are celebrating? I might wear a first time visit button. I wonder if I'd get anything special for that? Doubt it, but it never hurts to try!
Get One!! You might not get alot of anything, except for alot of well wishers which is fun too!!!

This is the picture of my dessert, it was almost a mousse, chocolatey and it was just so yummy! I loved that they made it Minnie Mouse by adding cherries for the bow :lovestruc

I thought I would add this too since it was so cute! It was my Birthday treat from the Japanese place at PP, we went there for dinner it was very good.

fruitface1.jpg
Yummy and so cute. :cutie:

:rotfl2:

There goes my entire wardrobe! OK, not really, but I'll probably try to buy something nice and new. I'm already treading having to walk to the park to get to the tour, walking back to the hotel to get ready, and then walking back to the park. :rotfl: I'm so lazy! Don't worry, I wont bring the diamonds out of the safe, mainly because I would have to be taking them out of someone else's safe. ;)
Share a locker!!

Much better! :thumbsup2 Except, I don't know if I should be offended or not...? :rotfl2: Seriously though, I hate being with myself with some of the clothes I wear, I can be SO embarrassing! Anyways, I'm gonna be like 50lbs lighter by the time March rolls around, so I'll really need new clothes...dare to dream. :lmao:
You go girl!!!

Yeah, me too! ;) :rotfl2:
You go too!

QUOTE]Molly, sending you lots of "baby dust!: pixiedust:

Anyone here majorly computer savy? Is this true?

:scared1:

What do you all use?

Heather
Hmm? I use Explorer.

Raincloud, those are very cute costumes. I wish my guy would have dealt with things like that, but he boils just like me, and he's a known costume-ripper-offer when he starts to heat up, so those sorts of things haven't been possible.

eatmypixiedust, I forgot to comment on the mega-cute monorail set you have around your tree. Someone on this thread has a train around their tree that made me wonder if E has enough Thomas and Brio track to do that, but then I saw the monorail track and I forgot all about my plans to check. :)

Wow as usual I go away to watch a movie and a bunch more pages. Love the pics Mel. Your daughters are gorgeous and love the ornaments!!

And Heather I LOOOVE those costumes. You people with talent kill me. I'm telling you if I have to actually MAKE my t-shirts for this thing it is going to be scary! I can't remember can we BUY that tink shirt somewhere cuz otherwise I don't want to be seen with y'all cuz I am going to look like a reject from the kindergarten club!

Anywho we all watched Mamma Mia and I swear Meryl Streep, Christine Lahti and the 3rd gal (forgot her name) reminded me of our group. They would fit in well with us crazy gals! They were lots of fun! And hey doesn't Greece look like fun and is it gorgeous there or what! I HAVE to go there some day. Between that movie and Sisterhood of the traveling pants that place is amazing looking!

Well I better hit the hay. I got an e-mail back from my girl scout leader and our holiday party is Thursday night and it seems now I have to somehow come up with 3 ornaments for the girls as well as some kind of appetizer. It NEVER ends. Everytime I think I am done there is something ELSE to deal with. BLEH! Then on Friday we have our office party. THAT should be fun at least. It is supposed to be a surprise. We are going to several different stops but they aren't telling us where. We got to order our lunch though and I know that we have a stop prior which I believe is wine tasting (which I could care less about cuz I don't drink) but the others will like and then lunch and then shopping I believe and then dessert. So it should be fun. And we are doing a secret santa. So hopefully should be fun.

And dh got an e-mail from our soccer team and they want to do a snow day on Sunday although not too sure if it will workout cuz dh has his side job still and Lynn has to work so I don't know if that will happen but it would be fun.

Then Monday we are going to mom's and the girls are making Christmas cookies and I know for sure that we are celebrating Katy's birthday on New Year's eve at mom's although for the first time we were invited to 3 different people's houses for parties. CRAZY! But I can't do that to my baby. That is the only time we can do a family party. BUT my mom wants us to come to her place in Truckee either that night or the next day and spend New Year's and the next day up there. So if I can find a place for Lynn to stay (since she will probably have to work) we may make it happen. And the REALLY cool part is they have a friend who wants to take us to dinner that Friday night at this REALLY fancy place in Reno called the White Orchid. She is a high roller at one of the casinos and she basically gets whatever she wants. They have taken my parents there before and I have always wanted to go. So I hope it all works out. We shall see.

So some possible fun times ahead maybe. And then of course on the 3rd we have Katy's party. So lot's going on in the next few weeks. Busy busy.

Well gals I am off to nighty night land. Sayonara. See you tomorrow!

Beth.............notice all my multi quoting? :yay: But I did have to erase alot of images, including most of your snow pictures.
Yes, I did notice! Very good. :thumbsup2 I always crop the posts too so I'm just replying to the part I want to reply to.

You can't see them in the pics, but they had name tags with their names and on the back, Nathan's said: Warning: Throws toys and the back on Nolan's said: Warning: Drools when excited.
That is so great! Wow. All you creative types are impressing the heck outta me! :worship: :worship: :worship:

If this is a real problem, you might have your thyroid level checked.
I did once, about two years ago when it first started happening. It came back normal at the time. Maybe I should try again. Most of my family has thyroid problems.

All caught up and nobody home.:sad2:

Have good evening!
I fell asleep!! I was watching tv and just dosed off. I haven't been sleeping well at night. And now I am wide awake and probably won't sleep again.

Wasn't it a great movie!!! I loved it and can't wait to buy it so I can watch it again. popcorn::

You are always busy, busy, busy. I'm not kidding when I say I do not know how you keep it all together. :faint:

Well, I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow! I'm not sure when I'll be on. The twins don't have school. I have their teacher conferences in the morning and then after that I think we are going to hit the Dollar Store and let them pick out little gifts for the family. They get a kick out of buying and wrapping their own gifts to give out. :goodvibes

tinkermell I didn't notice your dust. Thank you.

I got an e-mail back from my girl scout leader and our holiday party is Thursday night and it seems now I have to somehow come up with 3 ornaments for the girls as well as some kind of appetizer. It NEVER ends. Everytime I think I am done there is something ELSE to deal with. BLEH!

You are so busy all the time! I can't even imagine. And Girl Scouts, augh. Here's what I learned in GS. How to braid and french braid hair (someone else's and my own), which I will admit is a VERY useful skill, though it was taught to me by another girl, not by our leaders. And "snack". As in the verb snack, the noun snack, and just about any other way you can use the word "snack".

Other than that, big fat nothin'. Dropped out after a year or two, it was just all about the useless snacky things and nothing else!

I feel for you having to do all these things for them. Hope your kids are getting more out of it than I did; at least make sure they know how to braid and french braid hair! :)

Have fun tomorrow with the twins shopping Beth. I have to get on the ball and get DD's Christmas presents tomorrow. I have been procrasinating.
