Sara I am SO glad you will get to go with us in Feb my friend since I won't see you in Oct. And great news on scoring your plane ticket. I haven't even THOUGHT about buying anything for that trip yet. I have pretty much everything for oct bought except Shane and the girls passes. Since they are pretty much the same no matter what I am going to buy them online the week before we go. Saving my money till the last minute
I keep bugging mom though that we HAVE to book our room at DI. Just to get it done. It amazes me though WHY the rates are so high for that particular time. Don't know what is such a big deal for that time in Feb. It's not like it's president's week. I am getting the SAME exact room in Oct for 59/night and it is costing mom and I 100/night in Feb. WEIRD. But she doesn't want to have to walk from HoJo's. She has bad knees. In fact she wants to book DI and then wait to see if they have any decent AP rates that come out for PP or DLH but I seriously doubt that they will considering how much they are charging at DI. BUT she said that if PP is like 189 or something she would be willing to pay the extra 89 a night to stay so I am excited that we might actually get to stay on property and even get some magic mornings out of it. She is not getting an AP this time so she will probably get at least one no matter what.
We are going to be coming in Sometime Thurs afternoon just like last year and are going to leave Monday night. I am so excited! Course I am excited about Oct too!
So are they doing Fantasmic in Oct? I thought I heard someone say maybe no! I would LOVE for the girls to see Murphy! And EO won't be till Feb? The girls all of a sudden have this fascination with Michael Jackson since his death and I would LOVE to have been able to show them that. I wish it was playing in Oct cuz since we are taking our big road trip in the summer I don't know when we will be going back as a family. Prob not till next year! Any chance it will stick around or is it just a temporary thing?
I've seen it millions of times but def want to see it again. I used to LOVE it!
Anyway for those who have not read my FB I went to my post-op and eventhough I thought I had a few complications my doc said that everything was healing up normal and that the stuff I was concerned about was nothing. So that was a relief. He said that all the swelling and other stuff will go away eventually and that it looked good but he still wants me to come back in another 2 weeks for one more check. So that is good. I am still in some pain today but I guess each day it will get a little better hopefully. They said it could take up to 6 weeks and today is exactly 2 weeks since my surgery so it hasn't been that long and I had a LOT done so we shall see.
Anyway then we went to the back to school and I met Katy's teacher and she seemed ok. A little scatter brained but ok. And Beth you will be jealous, she doesn't believe in homework! She lets them do it in class! I love it! I am with you I HATED them always having HOURS of homework so I am loving this! Of course Shelby still has tons but at least I only have ONE to deal with.
This year they have to do a report on missions and you wouldn't BELIEVE some of these models I have seen the kids coming to school with in the past. SHEESH! They look like professional architectural models! So THAT is going to be a fete! But Shane likes that stuff so he and Katy will have fun with that! And I might FINALLY get to go to Sutter's fort. It is in my town and I have NEVER been there. In fact it is RIGHT across from my doctor's office. Both my neurologist AND my colo/rectal guy and yet I have NEVER been. So hopefully I will FINALLY get to go. Plus she is thinking about one to Coloma (the gold site). So I am looking forward to those!
Shelby's teacher was sick so we didn't get to meet her. Don't know if we will or not now since I can't see them having one JUST for her.
Anyway then tonight the girls have their soccer pics and as I had mentioned if I am feeling ok mom and I are going to take Katy and maybe Shelby to see Julie and Julia. So that should be fun if it works out!
And then today I am going to go back to work finally for the first time. I am really not feeling up to it but mom has to turn in the corporate taxes and since I usually do those she wants me to go with her to the accountant. So hopefully I can handle it! Sitting for long periods still really bothers me so we shall see how it goes!

Maybe we'll go see Ponyo or I can go see Inglourious Basterds with my dad. Has anyone seen it? I hear it's good but graphically violent.
