Morning ladies. I am once again working on homework. UGH! Seems like it never ends. So that means no DL for me today after all. And it looks grat outside. But the homework won't get done on its own. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Well, I am supposed to be working on a power point for history. School sucks the life out of a weekend, huh?

Beth, you are so lucky to live in such a fun place! The only free tickets I get are to the Birds of Prey exhibit.

What is going on in June?
:rotfl: Well, birds can be fun too. ;)
In June, Stacie(lee) booked a timeshare and a group of the ladies are coming out. There should be about 11 of us if you count those coming and those who are local. So we are hoping for some good deals.

Stacie, sorry about the homework. That sucks!

Well, I've gotta run and get some things done around here before we head to the show. I'll be back on this evening. Later!

Very cool!:thumbsup2

Talk to you later!

I better get busy on my homework, too! :wave2:

Yeah it does. It doesnt' help that I slept till almost 11 today. I never do that. But I was exhausted last night, but still had tons on my mind, so I took something to help me sleep. And boy did it. Now I have to make up for my lost morning.

Oh cool. That seems like a nice place. :) We almost stayed there once.
Well, for sure at some point we are going to have to meet for something. Tell your DBF he made a great choice of dates. :thumbsup2

It is, we've stayed there before and all our trips thru May are scheduled for the Peacock. :) We like it there but it's not where we'd love to stay which is the HoJo. That's our favorite! :) And yes, I'm going to check the schedule and see where we can meet up, otherwise my phone number is the same and I will have my LGMH out so watch for me!!!! :)

It doesn't hurt to look into teaching...school nursing sounds great too!

Your poor little guy. DD did that at around the same age. She is 4 and she is starting that up again. She tells me that she gets scared when she doesn't see me. It is kinda sad.:sad1:

That is awesome! I hope I get to meet you!

DH and I are going shopping for my Dad's birthday gift. I am hoping to be around again tonight.

Did I mention earlier that I found my tote today for the tote exchange? It is so cute. :goodvibes

I hope so too!! I'm very excited to see you all!!

Great days to go for sure!! You have to at least come to the Cove Bar then for drinks and appies :thumbsup2

I'm still waiting for my t-shirt (it was shipped on Jan 9)...... Like I always say - Canada is the farthest place from EVERYWHERE in the world when it comes to shipping :sad2:

Cove Bar...do they let kids in? Maybe DBF can take the girls to eat at AG and I can come to the Cove Bar and meet you all! Hmmmm, mental note to check the Cove Bar schedule. :)

Well, because I'm such an obsessive planner, that just wouldn't work for me!!! Just kidding! But I do like knowing that I have something already planned and paid for!! KWIM? Either way is fine with me, though. :confused3

That's totally fine with me. I just wanted to throw that out there. I'm having dinner with my parents tonight and will break the news to my mom that she has to pack light, so we can just carry on.

Well, exciting for me.
I just booked my first wedding!:cool1: I'll be catering it in August. It's just 80 people, but it's a pretty big job! On top of the food, I'm coordinating the rental of tables, linens, dinnerware, dance floor, etc. It will be in their backyard, and they want nice salads and BBQ. She specifically wants chicken, and when I suggested tri tip or (jokingly) ribs as well, they were all over having ribs! So I guess I'll be making a lot of wedding ribs this summer!

Congrats!! that is so exciting!

On a sad note, did you hear that Disney has cut the Billy "green" team starting next week? (Luckily, your and Callie's beloved Kirk is safe!)

Thanks Cheryl!
I had not heard that Billy news. Where did you get that info? I'll have to do some investigating.

Stacie, I was wondering if you've thought about how you are going to book the Segway tour? Are you planning to do like Linda for the WIWF tour and have everyone send you a check before hand and then you'll call and book it?

Yup, that's the plan. Guess I better get moving!!

For anyone who's on the Segway list, I will PM you my mailing address. Please reply to the PM that you are still going, let me know that you are sending a check for $79, and let me know when you send it. If it's more/less, I'll let everyone know, but at least I'll have everyone's payment before hand.

Beth, I accidently sent it to you, too. I couldn't figure out why I had 13 people instead of 12, kind of made me freak out for a second!!!

What is the Billy "green" team?

There are three different sets of "Billy's" that perform--green, gold and blue. Different days. Disney is eliminating the "green" team and just having the gold and blue team cover all days to reduce costs.

:cheer2: Hey Tracey! You Who!!! Over Here!!! :cheer2:

Can we get VIP seating for Billy Hill? We will be watching it on the tour or later?

What about Aladdin? Again are we watching it on the tour or catching it later?

Thanks!!!

Evening ladies! :wave2:

I can't decide if I should drive or fly! :confused3 I keep going back and forth. I know driving would be more economical and we always drive down as a family, however I am afraid I would get tired easily doing it alone. (I have a child who has major sleep issues and I am up a lot at night and therefore get tired when I sit too long! )
On the other hand, there are some good deals on flying down there. The best being flying JetBlue into Long Beach for $104 rt (before taxes). But I am not sure how much it would cost to get to HOJO from there? Anybody know? Is it better to pay more to fly into LAX or Orange Cnty because the transportation would be much cheaper? I know - lots of questions! :rotfl:

On another topic - what is the link with current menus and prices for DLR. Someone earlier mentioned bringing cash. I am so glad they did! :) I usually just carry cards with me! So I want to figure out how much cash I need to have with me. I haven't been to BB in years - know its pricey but need to get an idea how much I will be spending there.

TIA!:thumbsup2 You guys are the best!

I have never seen either show and I am game for watching them during VIP tour if others are as well. Or, maybe we should choose one that is our top priority and play the other by ear depending on how the day is going in regards to lines, crowds, etc.
