Oh, and I can't remember who made our Ariel's reservation, but do you know if we have indoor or outdoor seating? I know that they charge more for one than the other (i think it's indoor that costs more).

I actually did not specify either indoor or outdoor. Any preferences from anyone? I've never been there before, so it's all good to me!

Stacie, another option might be just going to the cab stand and telling them we need a van. They'll definitely fit 7, and I've never paid more than $45 to get from the airport to Hojos. With a tip, that would be about $7.50 or $8 per person, and you wouldn't have to worry about pre-ordering and pre-paying.

Also, we are flying home Sunday evening, so we won't be in your car going back.

Well, because I'm such an obsessive planner, that just wouldn't work for me!!! Just kidding! But I do like knowing that I have something already planned and paid for!! KWIM? Either way is fine with me, though. :confused3

Thanks for posting this January! And it did remind me to remind all of you that if you have not seen the Alladin show it's a MUST-DO!!! Very funny and great production.

I have a PAP and I am willing to share my discount with as many people as Disney will let me! I think that from what I heard that means that everyone eating at Ariel's will be entitled to my 15% discount, as will the people sitting with me at Carnation Cafe. But, I highly doubt that they will give 30+ people my discount at Storyteller's.

I also have a PAP--I think one or two others might too. So between all of us I think we should be able to use it. When you called did you ask if one PAP was good for the whole group?

Hey Amy, I would totally make a tote, if I had the capability of sewing. :artist: My plan was and still is to get a canvas like tote and decorate it with Disney stuff. That is what I envisioned, but I agree it's gotten away from what I was originally envisioning. But that's okay, seems that's what people want and most are pretty excited about it. Mine may or may not have stuff in it, but mostly it will have stuff ON it.
If we're too far "out there", you and I can exchange with each other. :thumbsup2

sigh--I haven't even thought about the tote yet!

Well, personally if the weather is nice I think outside would be great--but since we can't predict the weather I would probably err on the side of inside. But I'll go with what everyone else wants!

I e-mailed my friend so I am just waiting to see if she is going to come up on the 7th but if not then mom and I may be available to join you at Jazz Kitchen. We are not going on the tours or anything and we are open on Saturday night. We had no plans and if my friend came we were going to see if she just wanted to have dinner just the three of us but if she DOESN'T come or even if she DOES we were going to leave it up to her to see if she wants to eat just the three of us or with the group.

But as I said if she doesn't come at all then we are open to eat with everyone else who is not on a tour or whatever. I hope that makes sense.

I am sure mom and I don't want to eat alone so we are open to eat with whoever.

Mom doesn't get back from Mexico till Wed so I will have to wait and see till I hear from my friend Wendy and also from mom to kind of firm up what's going on for Saturday night but otherwise I am up for whatever. :)

I am the same way. I don't like not having things that can be taken care of, taken care of. If you want to book it in advance and the other gals are all about it, I say go for it.:thumbsup2

That would be great if you could join me and Michelle for a little 'Nawlin Creole fare. :thumbsup2

For you girls who want to get something from Oriental Trading, this just posted on www.slickdeals.net:

Oriental Trading Company offers $10 off $10 or more when you enter code AVA910 at checkout. Shipping starts at $6.99. Note: As you proceed through checkout, be sure to make sure the code AVA910 remains in box as the system seems to default to a different code which will not take $10 off $10.

Ooo, thanks!

Good morning, ladies!!

I am sooo excited because I just purchased my airline ticket!:hyper:
That's great news!!! And I'm so happy to read you are going to get to hang with some of the ladies before hand on the flight. :)

Ariel's indoor seating $39.64, outdoor seating $37.16.
Wow. I don't think I can spend $40 on lunch. I would love to, but I think I'm going to have to withdraw my name from that lunch. I can grab a soup nearby at Pacific Wharf and meet with y'all afterward. :)
Theresa, can you take my name off please. Sorry for the hassle, and thanks!

Beth, can you please change the link on the 1st page to this post? The older post, that I can't edit, had the wrong people on the list.
No problem! :thumbsup2

I hope everyone is having a good day so far!! :cool1:

I can't believe this weekend is almost over. It went too fast. We have free tickets to see Nathan Burton later this afternoon, so we are going to do that. I had some errands to run today so I've been up since 7 and I am ready for a nap!!! :faint:

Dumb question-- who's Nathan Burton and what does he do?

Cheryl (obviously out of the loop . . . . )

Sorry. He's not that well known, but he does comedy magic and has a show at the Flamingo. It was free so even if it sucks, we aren't out anything. But I've heard he's pretty good so we'll see.

Have fun! I've heard of --is it Mac Thomas? I think he used to be at Harrah's or somehwere--did a comedy magic show too. Looked a lot like John Candy if I recall . . . .

There is a Mac King who has a comedy magic show. We've seen him before and he was pretty funny. That show was free too with the purchase of two drinks. Lots of good deals to be had! :upsidedow Hopefully the deals will still be around come June.

Here is code for .99 shipping... ASB909

I don't think the codes are stackable, but if you're looking at something that's less than $10, the .99 shipping might be a better deal.

Stacie, I was wondering if you've thought about how you are going to book the Segway tour? Are you planning to do like Linda for the WIWF tour and have everyone send you a check before hand and then you'll call and book it?

:thumbsup2

and hopefully it won't be toooo hot! last time I was there in May it was 113!

LOL Yeah, the heat can get bad, but that's what drinks and A/C are for. Although if it's hot, I'm not walking anywhere! Everyone else can if they want and I'll take a taxi. :rotfl2:

Beth, you are so lucky to live in such a fun place! The only free tickets I get are to the Birds of Prey exhibit.

What is going on in June?
