Hello!!! I LOVE the lanyard design, now must go in search of my lanyard...where did I put that thing? I'll PM you, Callie once I find it.....if I find it...if not, what's $3!!!!!!

So, I am too lazy to hunt down the info about the T-shirts. I know it is the Tinkerbell design, but what day are we wearing them?

All right, many of you have reported quite gleefully that you have bought a tote. Is EVERYONE buying them? Are you guys decorating the purchased ones? I started working on mine last night, and since it was late, the applique didn't turn out 100% perfect, likely not even 75% perfect. Should I just buy one and give up on the one I am sewing. I don't want mine to be the loser one that no one wants. I think the idea is cute, but maybe it is over the top. So whaddya think?

Going to DL tomorrow for the day!!!

Amysue

Hey Amy, I would totally make a tote, if I had the capability of sewing. :artist: My plan was and still is to get a canvas like tote and decorate it with Disney stuff. That is what I envisioned, but I agree it's gotten away from what I was originally envisioning. But that's okay, seems that's what people want and most are pretty excited about it. Mine may or may not have stuff in it, but mostly it will have stuff ON it.
If we're too far "out there", you and I can exchange with each other. :thumbsup2

Depends on what the price is. On GT it says Ariel's is $38, on the DL website it only says $30+. On GT, Storyteller's says $36, on the DL website it says $20-30.

The Premium AP discount is 15%. Using the numbers on GT, it's about an 11% discount... If someone has a Premium AP, will they give everyone the discount?

I just called DD and here are the prices I was given.

Ariel's indoor seating $39.64, outdoor seating $37.16. With my AP discount it comes down to $33.70 for indoor and $31.59 for outdoor--both of which are cheaper than using GAT.

Storyteller's is only $24.77. With the AP discount it comes down to $21.05. So, even without any discount, it is way, way cheaper to pay onsite rather than to pre-pay using GAT!

Do the DD prices include tax and tip because the GAT price does. That's the sticking point for me where I'm not sure. Obviously, DD is cheaper if they do include everything.

Also, that's a $7-10 difference than listed on All Ears...it looks like they ned to update their prices again!

Thanks for Calling Jane! I forgot to mention that!

Yes, they include tax and tip. It seems to me that GAT bases their price for character breakfasts off of GK, which is typically anywhere from $5-10 more than L&S, M&F and Storytellers. So, if you have a large group and you are going to Goofy's it can be totally worth it to order ahead. But, in our case with the AP discount at Ariel's and the lower cost of Storyteller's we would do best to pay onsite.

I think it is really cool that you all are decorating your totes.:thumbsup2 I am not creative at all...my limit is scrapbooking. I usually borrow my scrapping ideas from others.::yes::

Wow...that is a lot cheaper than I thought it would be. Thanks for calling and checking.

Great! Thanks, and so I will pass on the vouchers. I knew someone smart would be around to figure it out for me. :goodvibes

WooHoo! It's getting close!

Oh, and January, I'm doing the envelope method also. Are there safes in the room at HOJO's?

Stacie, I'm good with a $1.50 tip. I also assume that the price is for each way. I think that's a great deal!

I'm right there with you on both counts. My tote is 100% pre-purchased. Otherwise it would look like the little drawstring backpack that Ty decorated at school as a Christmas present for me this year. I know with kid presents it's the though that counts and I will cherish it always. But, you won't find me using it in public. And, I didn't even manage to get my shirt right on zazzle, as I didn't move Tink up and to me it looks weird!

But, I am jealous of those who are crafty and artsy--so if you can, please do. And, if you are craft impaired like I am, embrace it and let others do the work!

There is a safe in the room.:thumbsup2

What time is your flight home? I am leaving Mon. afternoon. My flight leaves around 5pm.

I think the person who gets my tote will be glad that I bought instead of making. Trust me on that. I agree with you on the embracing the talent of creativity.
I have not seen the finished project of my zazzle shirt...but I am wondering how well I did at aligning everything.

Yes, it's each way. We can also do the return shuttle pre-paid; I have no idea if anyone is leaving when we are.

We're leaving at 7:40 on Monday night, although I wouldn't mind moving that up earlier if another Ding fare comes up; what do you think, Heather? Right now, the earlier flights are $69, but I've been watching them and there were some that came down to $45, just not those. I'll call you if/when I see one come up.

I can sew, but decorating a tote...that would be my downfall. It would look like a Mother's Day gift that a 5 year made from their heart. Since I'm not anyone's 5 year old, I doubt anyone would love to receive such a tote from me. However, I'm so glad that there are people around here with talent and creativity. I'd love to get a tote from someone like that! I'm just not one of them.

We leave Monday evening also...I'm fuzzy on the time though. I don't want to think about it. I know EXACTLY when I'm arriving, but I don't want to think about leaving. (In reality, I'll probably be missing my boys so much, that I won't be able to wait to get home! )

I wouldn't mind leaving a little earlier, but am looking forward to a little time in the park on Monday. A 4-5PM flight would be great! :thumbsup2

I may just take the DL express back to the airport on Monday if I am going solo. I enjoyed it last June when DD and I used it.

Please PM me with your last name just in case I need it when I make the reservation (the only 2 I don't have are Rochelle and Jenn).

I'm going to call on February 5, which is 31 days out, and see if I can make the reservation then. I need confirmation from everyone on the list before then, that you are going, and I will PM my mailing address to everyone so you can send me some money, AFTER I make the reservation!!! It should be $79 each, but I will confirm that when I make the reservation.

Beth, can you please change the link on the 1st page to this post? The older post, that I can't edit, had the wrong people on the list.

I searched for it, and it didn't take long at all... I just never know if the searches on here will work like I want them to. Anyways, it's Dawn and her mom that will also be on the same flight. So we have me, Heather, Tina, Tina's mom, Dawn, Dawn's mom, and Janaury. The vans will take up to 7 people, which is what we have. The Exclusive Van Service will take up to 9 people for a flat rate of $67 (plus tip). So regular van costs $9 (including tip) for up to 7; exclusive van would cost about $9.50 each for 8 people (including tip) and $8.50 each for 9 people (including tip). So if there are any others coming into John Wayne/Orange County/SNA airport between 11:30am and noon on Thursday, March 5, SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE!! I have time before I have to make the reservation, and there shouldn't be any problem with the van being available, since we already have 7, which is the max for individual reservations.

One question, do you all think $1 is enough? It's only 10%, maybe we should do $1.50 which is 15%... And we don't have to do the tip on the pre-paid reservation. We could just each give the driver whatever we want when we get there. Another detail to decide... When does it stop!!!!

Stacie, another option might be just going to the cab stand and telling them we need a van. They'll definitely fit 7, and I've never paid more than $45 to get from the airport to Hojos. With a tip, that would be about $7.50 or $8 per person, and you wouldn't have to worry about pre-ordering and pre-paying.

Also, we are flying home Sunday evening, so we won't be in your car going back.

I love Jazz kitchen, too. I'd be willing to do the Jazz Kitchen Express, if you're interested in that. With me losing my job, it will be tight for the trip for. I agree about the Gumbo.

YAY!!! :cheer2:

Jazz Kitchen Express is perfect! It's a date!:thumbsup2

I'm also on a VERY tight, razor thin budget.

Anyone else want to join us for dinner Saturday night? We're doing the "tight budget" version if anyone is interested. There's plenty of choices under $10.
