I'm a good friend though. I never named names or turned states evidence or anything like that. But yeah. She snuckered me into a life of crime.

I've never seen this either, so I think it's a must do in March. I have no idea when, since it looks like I forgot to schedule time to SLEEP, but I will find a way!!! ::yes::


For Ariel's, I think we can decide the day of if we want inside or outside. If it's nice outside, I think it's :thumbsup2 to sit outside and enjoy (and mute the squeals of joy - unless they're coming from our table!).

It doesn't matter to me if we sit inside or outside. The weather is the only thing that will make me want one over the other.
 

I wonder if you can make a way for people to get a CD, but not take part in editing? That way there aren't 20+ people editing, but we can all get the end result?

My vote is that would take too much work for 1 (or even a few people) to take care of. I know from last year I enjoyed putting the borders on my pictures. Also there were a lot of people that did go off on their own (myself included) and had photopass pictures taken.

I'll go with the majority though.

Steph: I agree, I think people should be able to edit at least their own photos (or photos they are in). Unless Stacie wants to take her time to put EVERY border on EVERY picture. And even then, sometimes I play with zooming a picture, etc. Which she wouldn't know what we wanted done.

I have never done the photo pass like this before. I think I would like to add boarders and such. Unless there is a huge reason why we shouldn't, I want to be able to edit pics.

It's going to be hard with 19-20 people, but we'll manage. I think that everyone is going to want to edit their pictures, and possibly some of the group pictures. There are some Photopass shares that assign a time for each person to edit, does anyone want to do it that way? I'm hoping there isn't an issue with the Photopass website if more than 1 person is editing the exact same picture at the same time. What are the chances?? And when you edit a picture, it actually saves you a new one and doesn't change the original picture. Sounds more confusing than it is!! :confused3

I think assigning the days may work with our large group. How many were in the photo share last year? Just curious, I know we had a lot of pictures.

About the GAT voucher rates, they usually are a good deal. It's kind of strange that they are apparently such a bad deal right now. I might think that the CM quoted some wrong prices (sometimes they quote with tax, sometimes not, and sometimes they say they're quoting with tax but are not) or the prices on GAT reflect the holiday pricing rather than current (or prices in March will be holiday but DLR isn't saying that). But GAT includes tax AND tip, and usually is a better deal. So something odd's going on.

The CM I talked to today said that the prices that he quoted me included tax and tip. And, in my experience Storyteller's breakfast and Lilo & Stitch breakfast are usually significantly (upwards of $10) less than Goofy's Kitchen. Thus, the $24.77 seemed right on target to me.

And, Ariel's is probably up to almost $40 if GAT is charging $35. However, my AP discount will allow me to bring that price down below the GAT price for everyone in our party. I will say that this is my first time going to Ariel's so I don't know for absolute positive sure that it will work that way, but when I have dined at DLR restaurants with non-APs in the past they have given the discount to the whole table.

But if anyone wants to call DD and ask again to see if they are quoted a different price, feel free--I won't be offended :lmao:

I would like to get in on the CD, thereby bringing down the total that each person pays, but I have full faith that whatever edit I would think to do would be thought of by others. And I don't want to take up one of the spots, when someone who might want to do edits might not be able to officially join if I joined.


It was mentioned that the cutoff was 20 so things didn't get too crazy, and I'm thinking that the crazy part must be just getting everyone time to edit. Because otherwise, I don't get where having another person to share costs but NOT take up editing time would be a bad thing. :)

Last year, we only had 13 people. This year, we have 21, so it may work out better to have people sign up for different days to edit. I'll see what I can figure out.

Stacie, the Photopass thing confuses me so I'm staying clear of that discussion, but I will make note on the front page that it's closed now.

Well, so far what I know for sure is this. You can ask for absolutely anything, and never get an answer as to what will be done. That is my experience so far anyhow:) I don't see Billy Hill on Friday, but there is a 5:45 Aladdin show, so we could end the tour at 4:00, do our 4:20 Carnation Cafe thing, go to Aladdin, and then those of us that are going on the DVC tour could do that, and then meet back at New Orleans Cafe for Beignets at 8:30, to go to Fantasmic reserved section at 9. Does that sound too hectic?

We could try to watch it together on the tour, but that is a good portion of time to be sitting there with a $150/hour guide.

I know what you mean Molly, and maybe there will be a way to get others that don't want to edit the pictures and just want to have the pictures, a copy of the pictures. Does that make sense? I don't really think I will need to edit the pics either.

I was wondering the same thing! My inclination would be to make the design as big as I can print. Anyone want to give the measurements of the print??


Okay, that is it for now. Goodness you all are chatty. I spent as much extra time as I could today getting stuff in order for my Feb. 14 family trip. I am so excited because I finally decided how to break the surprise to my family about the brick that I purchased for them. Thanks to Beth, who took a picture for me on her last trip, I was able to get a Disigner to make a disign for a button with the picture of the brick and the words "I Have My Own Disney Brick" on it. I got those made and the Valentine cards done up and ready to pack. I can hardly wait!
