I read a post a while back about gift baskets that you can have delivered to the ship at Port Canaveral. Seems like it was one of the posters on this board. I did not write down the info etc and would like to look into it. Any info would be appreciated.

I gotta call Shirley and her folks there at the The Perfect Gift myself. Wanna be ordering a gift basket for DW for our December cruise and don't wanna do it too late as I usually seem to do things. Given the time difference between there and there right now, Its just so hard for me to get up early enough before work to make the call before I head off to work. Sounds like a good excuse to me for the moment.

You can get in touch with them now to get ideas and call back an confirm about 2 weeks before you sail. That is what we did in January. The Perfect Gift did a great job and I will definitely use them again!

Have I told you all I love you lately - WELL I SURE DO - anyhow getting down to basic - just remember the most important part IF you find yourselves down here and need a friend to help you out - we are here - we are your safe port here in Brevard County and yes we do it cause we would like to know you will pass the favor down the road some day (though carefully) -
Dave did I read or was I mistaken you was coming down my way - Roberto's is closed until August 4th - he has really taken a long vacation. Guess I will have to break down and cook the cuban food if he doesn't hurry back - anyhow write me ok -

I ordered a HUGE gift basket for all 6 of us for our cruise last May and it was wonderful!
It had all the special order items that I asked for including the very late addition of a bottle of Sea Safe! Talking with Shirley, Joanne and Norm was wonderful rtoo! Just like old friends the first time you talk with them! Think about things you might like and then call Shirley. She'll have fantastic suggestions for you too! And don't forget, you can send things to her that you purchase and she'll add them into your basket.

We will be cruising with the crazy 9/29 crew on the Magic. We purchased wonderful baskets from you in Feb 01. The Space Shuttle one for my son and the princess barbie one for my daughter. I would like to do something different this time - maybe less food/juice boxes, since they really didn't eat/drink much of it.

I ordered a basket for my trip in Jan. 01. for my dgrdd. It had a little minnie mouse and a large orange bucket. Both dgrdd now use the bucket. It was well worth the money and my dgrdd just loved it. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

If I had my way and could do it, all of you that have become so close to my heart - I would throw one huge party on the Magic and have you as my guest - so many of you have become such a big part of my memory for when I finally am just too darn old to work any longer - of course I am convinced I will still be around for another 40 years ----now that would make the book of miracles huh.
Phyliss - don't mess up my planning sweetie - have I got a surprise for you --just haven't put it all together yet
anyhow when you get a chance call me.
also all of those that have sent self addressed/postage envelopes - want you to know they go out within the day --will be in Key West the weekend of the 28th of september and hope to really find some nice places with discounts for those that are interested - Found a cute restaurant that I need to check out which is in front of Captain Tony's and seems they are willing to work with the cruisers also.
