Giant Eagle giving fuel perks for online purchases

Just got an e-mail from Giant Eagle, that they will soon be giving fuel perks (10¢/gallon for every $50 spent) for online purchases. This may make me give up mypoints, as it would be a better rate of return. It looks like quite a few stores will be participating.

Hi , I am also from PGH ( South Fayette) . I shop at giant eagle all the time. The online fuel perks is that when you buy grocerys online or are other stores participating?

never mind I went to the website. So anything you buy at the mall. com should earn you fuel perks sounds perfect for x-mas shopping. i hope they have it working soon.

I'm looking forward to see more details as well (once the program is fully released.) For some retailers, it will be better than other programs (at a 6% return rate at the 30 gallons I always buy with my fuel perks.) For others, it won't be as good as the rewards provided by others.

What we will be perfect is if some of the retailers that I shop online also have gift certificates thru GE. Then that will be sweet. I always buy gift cards at the Crafton or Kennedy Twp. locations as they always offer double fuel perks which equates to a 12% discount I have really been doing more ebay and online shopping using this method and it has been saving me a ton! Right now I have over $8 in fuelperks available between grocery shopping, gift card purchases and rx transfers! Gotta love FREE gasoline!!!
