Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

Do you know the title? I will look them up on You Tube. That is scary. Do you think they do it for the drama or do you think it seemd real?

sorry, didn't answer the 2nd part! You know, I like PS (and not just because it's Penn State...altho that helps! :rotfl2: ) but like everything else about the paranormal, you can sit here and pick it apart if you don't believe, or you can agree with them if you do. I tend to believe them, tho.

I thought it was very interesting during one of those above episodes, Ryan mentions he knows this demon from a past case where the Catholic dioscese contacted him to help in an excorcism. I know the church doesn't get involved unless there is a ton of evidence.

Just brining this one up. IN all political craziness we cannot forget that GH is on tonight. Perhaps we will hear a message from the other side.
I wish that it would be a message from someone wise that might have some good ideas on how to handle the political and economic mess. ;)

I love my two hours of Wednesday night TV! It's really the only stuff I make it a point to watch lately.

I wonder why the Catholic Diascese would contact HIM. I mean they MUST have priests who can perform exorcisms even if they do not admit it.

Wednesday is totally my favorite day of the week (when GH and Destination Truth are "in season!"). When the weather gets cooler, I long for a good ghost hunt.

:cool1:

Hoping tonight's episode ROCKS!!!

I am thinking of going to Belcourt Castle in Newport for their ghost tour. I am sure it is not going to be all that scary but I love the mansions. I did the ghost tour in Newport RI a couple of years ago and they let us use the thermal temp scans and there were some dips when we pointed them at the tree where all the hangings used to be held. I did not have a camera but now I wish I did so I could see if there was really anything when the temp change occured.

I usually make a pilgrimage to Salem near Halloween. I too love to watch GH when it is in season. I am thinking it will not be on all that long because they split the seaon with GHI(YUCK). I wonder if the network knows how much eveyone dislikes that series. Even if it does work on the premise that they are ghost hunting. I do not think they have ever gotten anything like GH has.

I'm all out of hunting locales myself :headache: I've been to Wavery Hills a few times and really don't care to go back. I know that here in KY there are several places with ghost tours; I'll have to see what I can find that's interesting.

GHI makes me physically ill. It's like those desserts they show you at restaurants - you know the fake ones on the platter they taunt you with? It looks so good and promising and when your anticipated treat arrives, it doesn't look a thing like the fake stuff and tastes like cardboard.

It's just like that. :rotfl2:

OMG,they are in our old train terminal. Boy it was not advertised at all that TAPS was in town. I know that Terminal,it was close to where my aunt used to live...beautiful building back in the day.

They must have gone there the same time they went to the Iron Island Museum, I can't imagine they would make 2 seperate trips to Buffalo.

Any reviews? I have not seen it yet so let me know if it is worth my time. I am watching the Office right now so I will watch it till tomorrow.

It was a good show, the whole hour. They used the K2 meter again and it was interesting, even though I really wish I knew if the reactions on the meter were really in response to the questions they asked. I'm going to give it 8 ghosts...because I think if they had a bigger team with them they could have done more.

It is so strange seeing stuff from so close to home on this show. The terminal is so much a part of city, when you drive in from the eastern suburbs the tower is just there, it's so big. I spent the first 15 minutes of the show texting family members about it being on so I had to stay up and watch the rerun later on.

Abandoned buildings make me sad. The ads for the show...that terminal looks amazing. I mean, think about it...all those people who used to go all those places.

agnes!

Last night's was very good. Some cool EVPs and the K2 meter picked up some stuff. If it wasn't for other evidence like the EVPs, I'd wonder about the K2. It's obviously reading something, and it seems to react to the questions asked. What I'd really like to see is Barry from GHI bringing his full-spectrum camera to see what he can find.

I saw that the Halloween episode is going to be at Fort Delaware. Isn't that the one where they were able to investigate an underground section of the fort that was just discovered?

They're also investigating the USS Hornet in an upcoming episode.

Well, here's my story--I call him The Sahdow Man.

He followed me around for years, right after we got married, in our first apartment, he always came through an interior door, first saw him coming through our bedroom door, a shadow figure, sorta two-dimensional, walked in the room then disappeared. I thought it was a dream, but we moved a lot in the early years of our marriage and he always put in an appearance in our new dwelling.

He never did anything, just walked through the bedroom door, then disappeared. Once the cat growled at it so I wasn't seeing things!:scared1:

But one night I really got scared, he came into our bedroom, walked over to my husbands' side and lifted up his arms like he was going to strike! So I screamed at it to get out and the cat growled and hissed, that thing folded up and disappeared. We never saw it again! Funny it couldn't have been a dream over about 5+ years and why did the cat react? He never came back, so there!:scared:

ok thats a freaky little shawdow man story! :scared:  :scared1:

I went with 8 and half Ghosts for last night episode! It was good and that EVP :scared1: yowzaa!

I don't think that 'everyone' necessarily dislikes GHI. It started out real strong at least according to some articles I read. I'd love to know how it's doing now.

Anyway, last night's GH show was good. I LOVE the train terminal and wonder what the plans for it are. It could be a nice shopping venue or something like that.

That one EVP was something else.

I thought that disembodied voice was truly amazing! So loud they could hear it floors away! And the building was so cool and enormous! I would say 9 ghosts. The thermal figure they caught was really perplexing in the way it moved.

Especially a building that beautiful. I'm just glad a group has purchased the building and is using it for something.

My in laws live in Appleton NY, sort of near Buffalo, near Lockport. Ghost Hunters investigated Marjim Winery there in June. Wonder if they all were part of the same trip? Show to air Oct 15.
