What is it like? Just wondering if we should do it! We are 4 adults, 3,4,5,&6. What kind of food and characters are there?

We were really looking forward to this for our August trip, but I got an email from my TA that said it has been cancelled. Tusker House is going through rehab starting 8/20, according to the email and they wont' be holding the GG Safari until sometime next year. :sad1:

Anybody know what's happening with Tusker House? I guess it probably won't be open at all during our visit, from what the email said. Anybody know anything??

We just did this last week and it was great! I'm sorry to hear that they won't be doing it for a while because it's a great experience.

The kids' meal was mac & cheese and chicken tenders. The mac & cheese was not a hit. We had 4 kids in our group and although they all tried it, none of them ate much of it. They did seem to like the chicken though. The adults' meal was served family style. There was salad, beef, chicken, rice, potatoes, and lots of stuff I can't remember. I took a picture of the table with the menu on it, so I'll try to see if I can zoom in on the menu and post it later.

After the safari and dinner, Chip and Dale came in for pics and autographs. There were also some live animals for the kids to look at. It was a very fun night.

What does GG stand for and does anyone have more details...cost, time, etc?

laughingplace, how was the adult meal?

That would be great if you could post the menu...it sounds like fun...I hope its offer in December. Do you know what day of the week it was offered?

Here is the menu. The food was very good, especially the chocolate cake!
