Getting the most from Snack Credits

What interesting things have people been able to use their snack credits on in the parks? the resorts? Can you get pastries from EPCOT's Norway & France bakeries?

Just curious about this as we are getting ready for our trip!

I think the snacks are the more narrowly defined than the meals-- I think you can only get a mickey bar, a soda, a popcorn, a single piece of fruit or a frozen banana as snacks? It is late, and I think I am missing a choice, but I believe the choices are pretty limited.

Your pretty limited what you can use your snack credits for. It's good for ice Cream, chips, fruit or a soda or water. Thats about it.

We were allowed to use a snack credit for the Mickey rice crispy bars and the Nestle bottled chocolate milk at the food court at POFQ

We found the options very limited at the Parks, but open to interpretation at the food court at POFQ. One CM at POFQ said no Powerade & nothing from the bakery, but a different CM happily rung up the Powerade & the Beignets as snack credits.

That was my experience too. Depends on the cm. At wilderness lodge, one let us use snack credits for yogurt and rice crispy treats.. The other one said nope, only a banana or apple or chips or soda or water.

We stayed @ All star Sports and they have a display of snack options, which is as stated in the brochure. But, at Caribbean Beach - Ole Port Royale, I got a bag of pretzels and a huge oatmeal raisin cookie, and 2 bottles of Coke, they also said rice krispy treats were included. (Sports did not have bottled soda in the food court (bummer), only bottled water, and they did not allow any thing else, at least the CM that I went to did not.) In the parks they allow that huge toll house cookie sandwich, and several other ice cream options at some of the carts.

I was able to get orange juice as a snack at Pop.

We ate sooo much food on the dining plan that we never ate snacks during our stay. We brought home 32 krispy snacks that the kids are giving to their friends and taking to school. (we were driving so were able to bring all of them home)

I was going to mention the huge cookies at Caribbean Beach are included, but not the cookie sandwiches.

In the parks, my brother was able to get an ice cream cookie sandwich and his girlfriend some kind of orange popsicle? Sadly, I never got the chance to get a Mickey ice cream bar just because of timing/meals, etc.

I got a Mickey ice cream the first day we were there(Aug 28) It was so hot about half of the chocolate fell off and a lot of icecream dripped all over. What a mess. I was so disapointed-Iwas looking forward to this for months!! I didn't get any more after that.

was the sandwich the fresh one( like from mainst. bakery) or the prepacked one?

The snack options were extremely limited at Typhoon Lagoon. We went there, and no carts would accept the card, we had to go directly to the restaurant. (This was on 8/29 I think). There was only one restarant open, and the line was long so we said forget it.

However, we were able to get rice krispy treats at Beach Club Marketplace. At Pepper Market, they showed me the list of what is accepted, and I was able to make a selection that way. Rice Krispy treat was on the Pepper Market list.

We were also able to get prepackaged root beer floats at the cart near the Indy Speedway in tomorrowland.
