Getting balloons blown up- where?

I plan on bringing my own balloons to Disney for my DD's 7th birthday to avoid paying for the $55 Disney florist balloons. Where can I get mine blown up? Will the front desk do it for a small charge?

Will you have a car??? I would be the floral dept. in Winn Dixie would do it - our local grocery store, though charges 50cents a balloon.

Another option (if you have a car) is to pick up from WalMart or a party store a disposable helium tank (small is about 2 bucks).

If you had one or 2, maybe the front desk would (I wasn't even aware they had helium tanks at the hotels), but I doubt they'd do more - as it does get a little time consuming.


Last option - if you had a lot - would be to order the small dispoasable helium tank and have it delivered to the hotel for you to pick up at check in. Obviously, whether that was worth it or not would depend on how many you planned on inflating! (PS - dont' forget to pack curling ribbon if you do your own - and the little clear clips they sell at OTC are priceless if you are inflating a lot!!!!)

Yes, we will have a car! Getting it done at a store is not something I thought of. We're going to be at DTD the day prior to her b-day. Wonder if there is somewhere near there that I could pay to get it done? Maybe Goodings?

I'm planning on 10 balloons or so, so the tank might be worth it.

This is the Winn Dixie we usually go to - and is only a *very* short drive (less than 5 minutes and like 2 turns) from Downtown DIsney. They might even be able to do a reasonably priced balloon arrangment for you (unless you already had specific balloons that you wanted) for a reasonable price and you could order in advance (rather than waiting while they inflated them, etc).

Where are you staying?

A lady at the Beach Club front desk did it for me free last August. I had brought my own mylar Disney balloons from home on my DD's 14th b-day.

She took the balloons & was back in about 5 minutes with them.
