This is my 1st reservation - I can"t remember what option I pushed but they sounded right. I think 1 and 1. It keeps telling me to have my #, dates, and destination ready. It also tells me a vacation advisor will be with me shortly, but no time. I have been on hold for 71 mins. I just hope I am in the right que. Any advice from those who have done this before? Thanks!!!

You are in the right queue. When they pick up you can make things go faster by stating your membership number, your name, the last 4 digits of your social, your address, your home phone number....then tell them what you want. I stated everything cleary (and not too fast) without her asking and she said that really helped. It was super fast for her to take care of me after that.

Glad you posted that! I was so disgusted with MS and their booking process this morning I was really getting royally steamed! I'm a new member too, and this process was worse than trying to book a ressie through CRO for Free Dining for Pete's sake!

Anger has turned to tears! What a waste of a day (just want to spend time w/ the kids on their day off). And, what a waste of $$$ (cell phone bill).

My love for DVC has diminished ALOT!

That's very odd - you were on hold before me, and I am now done my reservation. Do you have another phone line you can try using? It's very odd indeed. The time of wait is announced in the beginning of the wait and isn't repeated again.

I did get what I wanted, BL view studio for marathon weekend. I'd still like to know what the thought process was for having BLT & THV's first booking day on the same day. And throw marathon weekend on top of that, wow.

We did get the "over 20 minute wait" recording, but only once. After that just the same recording that the next CM would be with us as soon as possible & have info ready.

Total wait on hold was 21 minutes. GOOD LUCK to you.

I'm not sure. I just saw on a post by CASKBILL that there are 200 operators working. They could have opened up more lines that don't tell you the wait time. But if you have another line to use, I would try dialing on that one too. Just seems odd that some are waiting well over an hour, when others are done in half an hour.

Does anyone have anymore reports on wait time?

it's sunday. are you sure your provider doesn't have free minutes on saturday/sunday? if that is so, i wouldn't hang up my cell until i had a live person on my land line. so sorry, woody!

Yes, they told me 25 minutes and that was pretty accurate. I would hang onto both lines if you can.

After almost 3 hours of which 80 mins I was on hold - I was disconnected !!!! I got back in after a couple of minutes and was disconnected again. Is my luck really that bad? I am so discouraged!! I am finally back in with another 25 minute approx hold wait. Please tell me this is extremely abnormal!!!!!!! We just purchased at Bay Lake on January 30th while we were at Disney. I just hope we still get what we want

lots of pixie dust for you. sounds like you're in the right queue now. make sure you mention it to the CM though... it seems so unfair that they can't get their lines right!

We began calling just prior to the 9AM (Eastern) opening time. 20 minutes later we were connected, spent the next 17 minutes on hold (delightful B&TB music...) and then 7-8 minutes with a CM.

We booked a 1-BR Standard View at BLT from December 19-24! I look forward discovering just how "standard" that view is. From everything we have seen, the view should be fine. Probably part CR and part Seven Seas Lagoon.

After about 20 minutes on hold I did get my 5 nights. I did have to go with a Bay Lake View because the 30th or 31st(can't remember) was booked up. Started calling at 9am and was finally booked by 12pm I will be calling back to confirm my H/C room because they are unable at this time to call special service's for this due to the resort not being open yet I was told there would be a notation on my reservation for the roll in shower.
