Kathy: That film of Tyson on FB is hysterical. My husband had a childhood terrier that had booties for when they went camping so the pine sap didnt stick her pads together. She got used to them! It was nearly 80 here today and we wont have frost for a very long time so we can plant lots of flowers. I love ornamental kale and cabbage this time of year, too.
When I was little I got a record player for Christmas with a 45 of Little Drummer Boy. I played it about 30 times a day, including in the summer. My parents must have been very tolerant or wait, is that why my bedroom was in the attic??
Cindy: I had so much fun looking at the pumpkins your kids carved so amazing!
Nell: You are quite the cook these days. We had cold salads and fruit. Another hot tub for the aching feet. I painted and cleaned in all my spare time for several days. We really should go for a drive tomorrow and relax.
I love seeing all the cute little kids come around the neighborhood and watching them grow year-by-year. I have to say, editorially, that there isnt the slightest bit of evil in a little kid pretending to be something else for one night. They know the difference better than we give them credit for I think. My favorite year was when my son and his best friend from across the street went as crash dummies. They had identical costumes and if you knew those two, you would know it was a perfect fit they were always crashing into something!
Have a really great sleep, Carol, Pam and all the night owls
