GEO-82

21 and over! Interesting.

I doubt we will go as we aren't into themed, sweet cocktails, but nice the option is there.

I still think the design looks VERY bland, sterile and corporate but....a guaranteed adult's only experience would make me want to check it out at least once. The complaining about this on social media has been very entertaining this afternoon, might I add lol

What are the complaints about? The 21 and over?

It looks okay - I think more color with that same motif would be nice. It needs a little pop.

I know they call it a lounge, but it's basically a bar in EPCOT. Seems like it's very appropriate to have it 21 and over. There are so few places at WDW that are adult only - I think folks will adjust to this being one of them. The kids have access to 99.5% of the rest of WDW! But yes, there will be complaining about what to do with the kids while they're drinking!

I really don't have a problem with a bar being a 21 and up experience. There are plenty of other places to go at WDW if that doesn't work for someone.
I agree but there are A LOT of parents upset about this on social media. They yearn to bring little Timmy into a bar with little to no theming whatsoever.

Toss them on Spaceship Earth - that'll buy you about 15 minutes to down a beverage! 🤣

Would he kids even want to be there? I mean, I get that Trader Sam's a a pretty unique and fun place, but this particular lounge doesn't quite track that way. If I was a kid, I'd be dying to get OUT of there! Heck, even as an adult, I am not a big fan of bars anyway, since I don't drink. They're not really that fun if you don't. 😉

I'm sure they just want the option and it would be a one and done (if that) once they realize Timmy is bored off his gourd.

I'd love to know what the view is like. Presumably you wouldn't be able to see the lights on Spaceship Earth, but the view of the new gardens might be really pleasant.

It seems I'm in the minority, but I think this place looks beautiful and elegant, not boring at all.
We will definitely give it a try when we next are there!

It is nice, but comes off a bit nice Sheraton airport hotel bar. It does have hexagons though and we all know hexagons are the bestagons.

I kind of agree with both of you. I like the design, though I think it needs more color - something to add a little pop.

The name for it is not very good. GEO 82. My guess is they are using the same concept at Space 220. Space 220 has a good ring to it. GEO 82 does not, it will probably remind most people of the Geo line of vehicles that GM sold in the 1990’s. I’ll probably never go to it, because we always have my grandchild with us for 95% of our trips to WDW.

I also like the design. If it was themed to high heaven then it would be much more of a draw for families ... I think they are definitely going for the we need a break and want some peace, a comfy chair and a nice drink adult group....
