GEO-82

I also like the design. If it was themed to high heaven then it would be much more of a draw for families ... I think they are definitely going for the we need a break and want some peace, a comfy chair and a nice drink adult group....

I get that. I just think a little splash of color would be nice. It's a little stark, which I don't think is that relaxing actually.

I really like the idea of a 21 and over space. Somewhere to cool off and relax. I love WDW and I enjoy a space that isn't over-themed. Curious to see what it will be like.

Think the concept of a 21+ space is great. Feels like a hotel bar, but that’s fine. Don’t think it needs to be themed.

it is hard to judge too much from a single static picture... maybe the lighting will alternate with the ball

The description says, "...taking in views of sprawling World Celebration gardens and World Showcase Lagoon from inside a world-famous icon." Where will this be located? They give the impression that you'll be inside Spaceship Earth... but where?

I was under the impression that it would be in the exit area, where all the exhibits used to be. There aren’t any windows there now, but maybe the structure allows for some to be inserted? Obviously the path guests take to exit after riding would be separated from the lounge area - maybe the bar shown in the concept art backs up to the post- ride exit.

I believe it is above the Project Tomorrow area. The space has been there - it was used as a corporate lounge when Siemens had the sponsorship. There are windos that face out to the central area of Epcot.

Ah-ha! The thought of an old corporate lounge briefly occurred to me, but I didn’t know there was one in SE.

I don't think I ever noticed the Siemens lounge, so of course I had to search for info!

The most shocking thing learned (assuming it's not fake news) is that WDW could have had new monorails in exchange for keeping the Siemens name on SE. Why did you not do this Disney, why, why?

Well, you weren't supposed to notice it if you didn't work for Siemens. It was a private spot for their employees.

I remember that Monorail story too - I am not really sure on the details on how it all fell through though.
