If you're worried about not being checked into your resort...
just go to your MDX account and use "On-line Check-in" and set your arrival time for 6:30AM, or so.
You can do that weeks in advance and the "system" will consider you checked in, even if you have not arrived at WDW by the listed time.
(With on-line check-in, most guests never even have to visit a WDW resort front desk at any time during their stay.)

Yes, this is exactly what I am concerned with. I will be traveling and my flight leaves at 7:06 am, so I am inquiring if "checking in" online is enough to alert Genie+ so that I will have access to the app to book attraction selections and paid LL

Once you have set your on-line check-in date and time, your MDX account will consider that you are "checked in" to your WDW resort at the time you set up.
(You do not have to be in -or even be assigned- your resort room at that time.)
