Ok, so my hubby has a conference in Orlando in June. We havent been "Home" in FOUR LONG YEARS. We actually have a trip already booked for Dec. WOOHOO! Anyways, I *might* be able to do a two day ticket to MK while hubby is in conference. Do I need to try and make fast passes or will I be ok with single rider lines on somethings? i have never been to Disney alone! Im not going with the mindset of riding everything in the park, just want to enjoy being there alone and looking at things that my kids don't enjoy!

It depends on what you want to ride (no single rider lines at MK) and what your wait time patience level is. I rarely ever make FP when I go to MK solo but I don't ride a lot of rides. I ride POTC, BTMR, HM, PM and COP usually, none of which have horrible waits. But for me anything less than a hour is not a horrible wait. I enjoy just walking around and looking at the details and people watching when solo.

Depends if you buy your tickets in advance or not. You can always reserve some FP+ the morning of using your phone.

I would say to purchase the tickets in advance and make FP+ reservations. Of course you don't have to, but it will make it possible to do more and make sure you can do the specific attractions you want. If you FP the ones that are typically long waits, it makes it a little easier waiting in the shorter lines for others. Enjoy.

Personally, I would try to make FP+ for at least 7DMT and Space. Peter Pan lines build, but the standby queue is really cute, so I don't mind waiting. The queue at BTMRR is also fun, so I never mind doing standby for that as well. I'm not sure what your touring style is, but, personally, I would beeline over to Splash and BTMRR at RD, ride those without FP+ and then make my way through Frontierland, Tom Sawyer Island and Adventureland just taking my own sweet time heading over to Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.
