I love it when babies love princesses! I know that some of girls' first words were princess names...should I be admitting that?!? DD2 just now attached the "s" to "No White." It was bittersweet.
We love Disney words. Why would you be afraid to tell
us that?
That is the cutest video ever, I LOVE how Bella talks! Of course, I also love Jill's accent. You guys talk so cute!
And by cute, you mean:
Bella is adorable! I love her little voice. Does she have a favorite princess?
Because of her name, we've kind of tossed Belle to her a few times as a favorite. She may end up liking 'No White', since that's the one she gets every time. Who knows? Jill said she does a much better job when pointing them out on her Princess suitcase.
Love the Bella video. Ty will be two right after Bella. His birthday is April 8th. Doesn't seem like it's been two years since we've had these 2 cuties.
Can't wait to hear more about your trip. And I hope your kitchen comes together soon.
It's time to celebrate two years of pure fun with these little rascals! What was it like without them???
The painting is finished, so now it's time to clean up all that mess. The stove is supposed to come Monday, and the floor is supposed to start Tuesday. He said it would take until Thursday to finish it.
Then, running on a tight schedule, I have to get everything back in place by Friday night!
I have two sets of Disney glasses that I collected from McDonalds. They are fun to pull out and drink out of occasionally, especially the 25th anniversary ones.
A set for the 40th anniversary would have been perfect.
Did you get the melamine plates, too? We still have a Hercules one. I should have gotten more of that specialty stuff, but at the time, we had very, very little money, so just going to McDonald's at all was a big deal.
Bella is just too adorable! Too adorable for words! That made my whole week better! Jill, you are so lucky to have such sweet and cute girls! You too MeMom!
I feel extremely blessed to have them in my life.
Oh! I have those glasses too! They are kept on the top shelf and are not touched except for special occasions....I think the last time was when I hit single digits on last years trip! I'm such a nerd....
I had the McDonalds halloween buckets too...now we use them to put candy in by the door for the trick-or-treaters! I use my wdw Halloween popcorn tub for keeping candies in my bedroom!
I have a bunch of WDW popcorn buckets in my classroom for crayons, pencils, and scissors. I love being reminded of Disney World throughout the day.
Awwww too cute!
Good luck getting your kitchen finished in time for the party!
Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh? When I get home from school Thursday, I have my work cut out for me!
Been hard to get on the boards lately, so I have finally caught up. Lots more items to add to my list to buy!
That crowd at the DHS bus stop did not look fun! Is it always that crowded in the mornings? We will be driving in Sept., but I was thinking we might take the buses. IDK?
Yay for Ariel. That princess shop is a little girls dream.
Bella is so precious! Love the video.
No, we've rarely come across lines spilling out of the queue.
We're early birds, so we're often on practically empty buses in the mornings.
One could sure spend a lot of money in that shop. Brooklynn would love to have at least one of everything in it, I'm pretty sure.
OHhhhhh that video is darling....she is having a "who's that" disney quiz....Jill you are such an excellent mommy!!!
Now Memom.....I have a bone to pick with you!
What's this talk about only having two grandkids????????
Do you not see how Trent adores children? I am counting on him to become just as excellent a dad as Jill is a mom!!!!! Gosh if he reads this he will probably panic....just my grandmotherly instinct coming out!
Trent would make a great dad, no doubt. The problem is, whenever he thinks about marriage, he backs off. He went with one girl for three years, and they had the wedding planned out in their minds, and she had started naming their kids. That fell apart, and I don't know if he is able to trust relationships any more.
Believe me, I have told him he needs to 'get a move on', because I'm not going to get to see his kids grow up if he doesn't, and that makes me sad.
What a cute video of Bella! She is so adorable when she says "no white".
Her smile just brightens my day!
BrooklynnsMommy I love your alien tee!
Glad to see you were able to fix your password problems!
I'm sending

...for your kitchen to be ready for the party!
I had no idea McDonalds and Disney were not friends anymore, wonder what happened.
I was happy to add the Potato Head pail from this past Halloween to our collection of happy meal pails.
Happy Friday!!!
Lexi has to write a speech for her class this weekend and she picked WDW!!!
Do you think she will be able to talk for 5 mins about it?
And before you go thinking I had anything to do with it..I actually didn't.
Her teacher is encouraging her, maybe she is secretly a Disney fan.
Any pointers from all of my teacher friends?
She is not shy to speak infront of her class. That's a plus in my opinion.
(I was a shy kid and did not like public speaking at all.)
What is she going to talk about specifically? I always tried to have some kind of prop or video or food or anything else that went along with my speeches so that the audience would be more focused on that than on me.
I'm not sure what happened with McD and WDW. I think it was because McD wanted to have other kinds of toys, too, and not just WDW. They're probably still friends, just not exclusive friends.
That video was adorable! Bella is too cute! You definitely have to get that princess t-shirt this summer for her.
I am keeping my eyes on it. I am hoping to have a
tiny bit of spending money on this trip, unlike the last few.
She is precious! I just want to pinch her cheeks! I love that age where they say everything wrong. I remember everyone trying to correct my DD and teach her the right way to say things and I would always think, "No, I love it the way she says it!" Now those days are gone. She says everything perfectly... so depressing! Memom, you are so so blessed to be able to share these trips with your girls!
Jill you always find the cutest clothes for your girls! Where did you find all of them, especially the "Wild Child" outfits. They are adorable! Now that my DD is wearing a size 7, I am having an extrememly difficult time finding cute stuff anymore. I want her to still look like a little girl (b/c she is!) but almost everything out there looks like something a street walker would wear!! It is so frustrating!
I am blessed beyond anything I deserve, for sure! Do you think that us girls ever get over wanting to have a little one around?
When you move out of the 5-6 area and over to the 7-8, the style changes drastically. Like you, I like them to be little girls longer. Some of my second graders think they are teenagers.
I also have the Disney glasses from McDonalds & they are used daily!!
The video of Bella talking is so adorable. She is such a cutie. Of course Brooklynn is a cutie also.
I agree with Cathy. I bet Trent will be giving you more grandchildren. He is so good with those girls I cannot imagine him not having his own.
How's the kitchen renovations going?
The kitchen needs much attention. The walls look much better, but now we have to clean and get ready for the floor. I know it will be well worth it in the end, but it is weird just walking past the kitchen and not doing anything in it.
And it echoes, too, from lack of furniture.
I hope both my boys will find good girls to have families with. At almost 54, even if I live another 20 years, I won't get to see those kids grow up and get married, and that just tugs at me. Trent will be a good dad, and Drew will grow into that role. The girl he dates now is sweet, and she's already made changes in him, so that's been nice.
Bella is too cute. I hope that Jill and John are starting to save for those two Disney Princess weddings in the future.
If John hears you saying that, he'll have a spreadsheet out instantly!
So, now I need Jill to be my personal shopper (to find stuff like those super cute plates that I always seem to miss) and to teach Abby about saving and patience
Great update, as usual!
Brooklynn has come a long way in her patience. She's learning the value of money and how saving and buying works.
Very good life lessons, indeed.
The McDonald glasses we have. There is a set that are square but with rounded corners, we have them but can't really use them. You have to drink from the corner or you spill it all over yourself.
Our every day glasses are the Burger King plastic glasses. I like them because they dont break. Each one has a different Disney Movie featured.
I have a "good "set for holidays but they are all teh same so everyone would forget which glass was theirs. So we went back to using the Disney glasses even at Christmas Eve dinner so everyone could identify their glass by the movie on it.
I have a plastic Jungle Book McD cup that one of Drew's friends gave us when they found out I was Disney crazy.
The square glasses were given out for the 2000 celebration.
Maybe you could show us a picture. I wasn't going to McD much in 2000, but I'm sure I'd remember if you show them.
By the way, did you say you got the measuring cups and/or the spoons at WDW?
