Okay... here we go... I am just spinning my head here! I need your help... PLEEEZ! Both resorts are in great locations! Both deluxes!! Great ammenities!!

I love the Polynesian... you guys know that! Or I can save some money and stay at the Dolphin. Date is during Thanksgiving week! My mother will use ECV (scooter).

The only dissadvantage I see staying at the Dolphin is that they don't have a day bed in the room, I would have to use the rollaway bed which is $25 per night? The room is smaller 360 sq ft? And of course I can't use the FREE DME! Will use FL Tours service.

Okay... now what?! What do you guys think?!!

I think that you won't save that much more when adding the car service (with tip/roundtrip) and bed rental. I say go for the Poly.

:flower: Have a fun holiday.

After you add the roll away in your room at the Dolphin, depending on how many nights you stay you are not saving that much IMHO. As you know the location and monorail can't be beat. The two might be both Deluxes, but do not compare, just my 2 cents. Snap out of it Fantasia, look at your pictures from the last trip ! :rotfl:
I would have to say if we are talking over $500 that might be a different story.

I would have to go with Dolphin, the comfort of those beds and the great restaurant options all within minutes win our vote every time.

Thanks guys for your help! It does help me clear my mind some. :)

But aren't those beds double beds? Well... hmmm... that's another draw back..

I guess I should look at my beautiful pixs of the Poly again huh... just to remind me how wonderful our stay was! I guess after adding the extras at the Dolphin.. it will only save me about $200. I think I might have just answered my question here.

Enjoy your stay and I hope you get a new room in Fiji !!! :goodvibes

Have you stayed in the Epcot resorts area before? I say try the Dolphin for something different and wonderful as well. We'll be staying there ourselves this month and are really looking forward to it. :goodvibes

Well...by the time you add in the resort fee at the Dolphin plus the $25 for the roll away and the cost of the town car....not sure you would save that much at the Dolphin....I guess I would just choose based on whether you will be spending more time at Epcot/MGM or the MK??

There is no longer a resort fee at the Dolphin (or Swan). It was discontinued sometime this summer.

Stay at the Poly!!! Just back from The Dolphin, and was disappointed.
I would have rather spent the extra and cut back on other things, like souvenirs. The Dolphin just had way too many conventioners and was huge!!!
I walk alot, but this was crazy!!! Go to the Poly!!

Telly,
It sounds like a "Once in a Lifetime" trip. You know you love the Poly...take your parents there and enjoy! That's my FINAL answer, lol! :goodvibes

I haven't stayed at the Dolphin before - but i have stayed at BC in the Epcot area. Personally, for me - i don't feel that the proximity to Epcot was a great advantage - no transportation from future world. It is annoying having to spend so much on a deluxe resort then needing to get a taxi back from Epcot in the evening.

I really think you will enjoy the poly more - especially as it is your favourite hotel anyway and the rooms are a lot bigger.

I say Poly too - and hope for a new room - that would be awesome!

My mom has been to both and prefers the Poly. She feels that the Dolphin is too big for her.

Why not just walk back through the International Gateway?
