Will be leaving to fly out of Detroit in less than 48 hours:cool1:
I know gas prices here are set to rise tonight, approx. .03/L.
Does anyone have a site where I can convert the US gallon to L, so I can see if the gas there will really be much cheaper.
Near the airport in Detroit, it's listed as up to $3.03/gallon.
How would I figure out how much a L this is:confused3

I heard on the news this morning that by summer they predict the price of gas to be near $1.40/L

The price of gas in windsor just went up to $107.0 / litre this afternoon. Go figure just in time for March break.

Just outside of windsor the price per litre was $103.5 so I put in $30 worth so that I can get to Detroit and buy cheaper gas.

A US gallon is 3.78 L
(or thereabouts)

Thanks everyone.
I think it works out to about $20 cheaper for a tank(mini-van) for me.

CDNmouse--what's the forecast there for tomorrow/Sat.
Here in Hamilton, we could get 15-30 between tomorrow afternoon, and Sat, with the bulk on Sat.:scared1:
We are driving to Detroit Fri.(hopefully by 11am), but not flying out until 3:30pm on Sat.
I'm hoping the weather Gods will blow that stuff a bit more east for me--no offense to you East Coasters.
I swear I will crawl on my hands and knees all the way to Mickey if I have to.
