Just filled up at 2.08 for regular unleaded. What's your latest?

which would be western MD..gas went DOWN from $1.92 to $1.89..this morning it's up again..to $1.95...this just makes no sense!..highest I have seen around here so far is $2.23 for high test!

I live in the Dallas area. My car uses diesel and it is $1.65. Regular unleaded is around $1.83 and premium is around $2.05.

Filled up the tank yesterday morning at $1.959 gallon for regular. The owner was telling me that as soon as he gets back from running a few errands (picking up auto parts from different suppliers) he was going to raise the price up to $1.999/ gallon. He said he has to keep raising the prices, he gets gas delivered every three days and his prices keep going up too.

I did see yesterday, in Chicago, $2.39, $2.49, $2.59. I did fill up for $2.08, NW also.

Yesterday I filled up in the morning on my way to work and paid $1.92. On my way home the price at the same station was $1.99. This is for regular. I can't believe it went up that much in 8 hours.

After reading most of the replies, I guess I should feel lucky that I paid $1.89. I don't feel lucky. Does anyone know why we pay for 9/10 of a gallon instead of getting a whole gallon?

The grocery store down the street was still under $2.00 at the start of the week, last night it was at $2.23!
