You can... but I don't recommend it.

2015 tickets were before expiration dates. Assuming they are completely unused, those tickets can be used now as-is (with theme park reservations). If you want to add hopping, I believe you essentially upgrade to current date-based PH tickets which are considerably more expensive (possibly double depending on your dates).

If you want to use it towards an upgrade to DVC AP you'll have a credit of approx. $362.

Just saw the Cool Summer info. Looks like some sort of ticket deal is coming back.If it’s the same as last year, 3 non MK park days, it still works out better for me to buy that and then a two day ticket vs a 5 day ticket (based on last year pricing, I know it could change, just tracking for now). Can I still book LL 7+ length of stay using two separate tickets? We are staying at Kidani. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if a Credit card statement will suffice as a "financial institution" document when renewing a Fl Res AP? Disney lists bank statements, which to my mind,a cc statement is, but want to be sure they aren't referring to ONLY accounts like savings, checking. We are snowbirds and don't have Fl Id's

A cc statement should work according to what I have read elsewhere.

Your only AP upgrade option would be the Incredi-Pass which doesn't have any block out dates.

You can no longer upgrade to an AP with blockout dates if the original ticket was used on a blockout date. As PP noted, you can upgrade to an Incredi-pass which has no blockouts.

What is the best way in 2025 to find better pricing on tickets for large families? I have been to WDW with my 2 oldest kids in 2016 this time of year, but my youngest 3 have never been during this time of year (my favorite time).

4 day no park hopper on WDW is $5,043 and UT was $4,871 (only $126 cheaper in February 26)
Add hotel and dining options which are random but I imagine 4 days could come close to $8,000 or more for 4 days

I own two companies and do fairly well, but how do people afford this trip in 2025 that do not live in Florida? Or make it a trip that makes financial sense ? We do not have wonderful grandparents who say HERE go enjoy yourself with these free WDW tickets (to those who have that luxury I would kiss their feet LOL fwiw)

Not meant to be a bash post by any stretch, but I was shocked looking at the prices for the first time since 2023.

It mostly comes down to time of year. late December is the most expensive time. 4-day tickets are nearly full price (only slightly less than buying 4 1-day tickets); there is very little discount or savings on multi-day tickets until you get to 6+ days, then the additional days (7-8-9-10) cost considerably less to add-on.

You can go in mid/late August for just over $500/ticket (adult, kids a little less), which would be a good savings vs December. If your youngest isn't 3 yet maybe you can sneak in a visit before that 3rd birthday when s/he would be free. A hotel will be expensive also with that size party; the only on-site WDW resorts that accommodate 7 are the deluxe villas, unless you are willing to risk splitting up into 2 value rooms that may/may not be near each other.

Thanks for the reply---I have vowed to never return during summer haha----and it is so hard to go in September when school is getting started.

There is not really a time much cheaper than like you said end of July/August and first part of September. I guess I am looking for other ways to help the sticker shock that pros know that those who are not in the "know" would miss ---we have a disney premier visa but we have tried to get a credit limit increase for years (in my wife's name) and they will not do it----and they offer 0% for 6 months but we cannot even use that feature lol

We normally stay off-site---and in the past we have stayed at Bonnet Creek. It is just shocking how much per adult/child prices have gone up since we first started going to WDW 9 years ago.

I have an offer on a cap one card to buy tickets at undercover tourist but I want to make sure my plan will work. We have APs that renew Nov 1. We will definitely be renewing. We will also be in WDW Labor Day weekend (Sept 4-7). Can I buy tickets with a start date of anytime after our Sept trip and then apply them to our renewal during that Sept trip (it’s just after our 60 day window opens)? Does the start date of the tickets matter?

You can extend just your ticket at Guest Services as long as you’re not trying to extend it to earlier than your check-in day. I’ve done this after tapping into my first park.

It does say you have to be a current Disney Plus subscriber at the time of use and will have to show proof (I remember people would sign up for D+ to get the discount and then cancel after one month). I do think you can buy for others, I went and tried (I also have an AP and D+), it asked me how many tickets I wanted to buy, it didn't seem to limit me. Now I didn't check out, but it seemed okay. If you are with your family and they are linked to you on MDE (which I think you do have to do), I think you should be fine. If not, you can at least apply the value of what you paid to regular tickets, you won't lose your money.

Same! That's why I tend to think you can do it! Each person in a household doesn't have to have a separate D+ subscription, so I think you are good. I think as long as you can show you have a current subscription it should be fine. Now if you show up with 25 family members....

I got us all connected in MDE and now when I go to buy with the offer it allows me to choose them from the list. Yay! Saved a decent amount on their tickets with these deal.
