In the coroner's press conference, I saw numerous chat messages from various people asking that Brian Entin be unmuted.

I'm not familiar with him at all, but was he bad? They seemed to be intentionally excluding him. He never did get to ask a question.

No he's not bad. He's a professional reporter. There are bad actors in the world, people who think everything is a funny.

US Marshals confronted him at gunpoint while he was just in his underwear. The hotel (which apparently were one of the parties reporting him to LE) gave him his stay for free, along with breakfast.

Maybe. And I know you know this, but there is no chance they will show anything human in the area to parents.

If so, then they will live with a lot of guilt. He would likely still be alive if he had turned himself in early on instead of them helping him run.

I agree with you. I was trying to connect why the parents informed LE they wanted to search in the area and now it appears his remains have been found. They must have been in contact with him. Either he stopped communicating or he communicated his intentions to die and that triggered their search.

They don't even look alike. FBI knew he didn't have identifying hand tattoos and saw his ID but still fingerprinted him. The FBI laughs and says well he has a cool story to tell.

Honestly, I thought he was well out of the country by now, but it appears his remains have likely been found. Given that LE have been directed to the spot by his parents, it seems beyond belief to suggest that they haven’t been in contact with him all this time, and knew his exact whereabouts from moment zero. I think that they will just be living with the guilt that if they’d told police everything, then their son would be alive, but I wish they would also be charged with obstruction.

I could hope he left a letter or something explaining exactly what happened, but I’m guessing he was too much of a coward to even do that. His parents should at least be footing the bill for this ridiculous farce of a search which was required thanks to their inaction.
