We used Happy Limo round trip last week and had a great experience with them. They picked us up from the airport right on time (we got a free upgrade to a limo - my family was in awe! ), they picked us up from the resort right on time, our driver was very courteous & professional, the cars were spotless, and everytime I called with a question, Kevin was super helpful. I was really pleased with Happy Limo.

Hi Michele,

Glad to hear you had a good experience. I am thinking of reserving HL for DD's trip in Jan. She is college age and going with gf. Her first trip "alone". I have always rented a car on our trips together.

Mears is cheaper by about $25, but I am leery of the stories I have heard about them. DD travels days are Jan8-15 (time of the Marathon) and Disney is going to be packed that weekend.

Did you reserve online and pay in full. How di dyou handle tipping?
Did you do a grocery stop? Which store? I see it's only l5min, but DD could get soda and munchies to have at POP.

Hey Herc.

I did reserve on-line and it looks like they charged my credit card the day before we arrived. The tip is included, but we did give the driver a little extra because he was so good.

I did not do a grocery stop, instead I had Gooding's deliver. We have a very bouncy six and four year old, and I figured the sooner they could get to the parks, the happier we'd all be! I also thought 15 minutes wasn't enough time to shop - thought that I'd get tense from running around the store. But you're right - that should be plenty of time for your dd and friend to grab some snacks.

My dh has used Mears and hasn't really had any problems with them. His major complaint was that sometimes you have to make a lot of stops before you reach your resort.

We also used HL recently and we also pleased. They also charged our credit card the day before arrival but we had to sign the receipt when the driver dropped us off at the resort. Kevin is great-enjoyed dealing with him.

We used them a few weeks back to and had the usual great service. Planning to use them again around the holidays for our 40th Disney cruise. :teeth:

We also had a great experience with Happy Limo last week. Like the OP, we lucked into an upgrade to a limo. It made for a very comfy ride to and from the port. Of course, it's going to make it that much harder for me when I use Mears for my solo trip to Mousefest next month. But I digress.

I was already impressed with Kevin from the numerous phone calls he endured from me with question after question. He was always helpful and friendly. So when our trip finally arrived and we were greeted by a prompt, friendly, helpful driver in a wonderful vehicle, it just served to complete the picture of excellent service they had painted.

From start to finish they lived up to their name and to their promises. I will definitely use them the next time I'm traveling with more than just me, myself, and I.

I have sent my Aunt on HL, and they gave her great service. We paid by credit card ahead of time, and that worked fine. The 15 minute grocery stop (I believe it was at Publix)) worked well for them too.

However, I have seen reports of less than great service on DIS before, reports that included dirty vehicles, warm soda, not so friendly service, etc. Perhaps these were at very busy times? I don't know, but they concerned me a little.

Nevertheless, we will be using them again in December when Auntie goes down to OKW again.

Just FYI...Happy limo will now do your grocery shopping for you at no additional cost (according to their website). You have to have a minimum of 15 items. Just another way to save time getting to your resort!
