My MIL's favorite Disney movie -- the Lady is a Tramp. I never have the heart to correct her.

Disney Related:
My mother-in-law also loves that movie so much so that she purchased a
Lady and the Tramp jacket at the Disney Outlet located at the Delaware Shore.....I kid you not the back of the jacket looked like this:

Lady
and the
Tramp

Ahhh yes that is why it was on clearence.....Disney Designers obviously didn't think that one through. I wish I had taken a picture...I still laugh at that one. :lmao:

I am just about to roll off the chair laughing so hard!

One of the funniest things I have heard came from my own ds. He was 2yrs. 10mth. @ the time & so not interested in potty training.

We were @ MK & had gotten there @ rope drop. We went straight to Dumbo. The wait was something like 15 min when we got there. They were able to do one cycle then the ride shut down. We all waited about 10-15 min. & then ppl started to leave the line. YEA! We are now @ the front of the line. We decided to stick it out a few more min. in case the maintenance crew got it working. It was up & running in about 5 min. We are then let into the holding area of Dumbo. As we are standing there watching Dumbo go around, I smell something. Something familiar & foul........... I bend down next to ds to do a "smell check" (Those of you with children know exactly what I am talking about). BTW......... I didn't sniff his behind, just bending down to to his level was enough. I asked him if he had pooped in his pullup, without missing a beat he replied "Weave it, I wanna wide".

My dh & I still laugh about that. Can't wait to tell that one when he gets older!

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
i am wiping tears away!! way to funny!!!!

My granddaughter was a toddler when Aladdin hugged her for a photo shot. A day or so later she saw him in the DHS parade, then the DMGMS. The car came close to where she was standing to watch the parade. She yelled out in a voice loud enough for an adult and said, "Aladdin, do you still love me?"

The year was 1996, at the time of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. My daughter and I visited the characters late. Goofy was there and in a holiday mood I told him I loved him best, then I saw Minnie and told her the same thing.
Donald Duck over-heard me and said something to me. I couldn't understand what he said so my daughter tried to repeat his words to me. He kept talking to me and the more he talked the angered he acted, with my daughter trying to interpert his words for me.
He was so angry that even she could no longer understand what he was saying though we were working hard at listening. His protector tried to have him leave the area because it was late and they wanted to close up but he kept talking and talking.
Finally, not understanding him I did say, "I love you too Donald." With that he gave a grunt like a 'hymph" and let the CM lead him away.
It still is funny to me and if I see him again it probably won't be the same Donald but I would like to ask him if he is still angry with me. I did tell a CM recently while making dining reservations and she enjoyed the story so thought I would share it here.

We were on the train at the Magic Kingdom last week and there was one know-it-all on the train right in front of us. He was with his wife and two boys about 12 or so. The entire time we were sitting there, the man was talking all about the park and almost everything he said was wrong.

When we stopped at the Main Street station, his wife said "Oh look there's the monorail. We can call Kathy and tell her to take the train up here and meet us and then ride back to our resort on the monorail." So, the husband gets his cell phone and calls Kathy. He tells Kathy that they are going to Mickeystoontown but will be taking the train back to the front later on. Kathy could just catch the train and meet them at the front.

My husband and I looked at each other and thought...wow, he did pretty good considering everything he had told his wife and the two boys was wrong.

And then.....he turns to his wife and says something like "We can take the monorail back to our resort and then see all the other resorts and theme parks and make the pass over Universal and see what it looks like. You know the ride takes over an hour but that's okay because it's air conditioned."

Besides having it all wrong about seeing the resorts, theme parks and Universal Studios......he and his wife were staying at Pop Century. We heard him talking about it when he was telling one of his know-it-all stories.

Well, when we get to Mickeystoontown Fair, the family meets up with Kathy and her gang. He tells them to get on so they can go to the front of the park and hop on the monorail. It'll be easier to get to their resort than having to take the bus.

Poor family......I bet they were disappointed when they found out the monorail wouldn't take them back to Pop Century.

Another family got on the bus with us when we were leaving Downtown Disney and heading to Wilderness Lodge. The lady asked the bus driver if it went to the Wilderness Lodge. He said yes. She asked if she could get to the Magical (yep Magical) Kingdom from the Wilderness Lodge. He said yes you have to take the boat there or catch a bus from there. The lady said okay. Thanks.

Then, she sat down and said..."We aren't taking no boat. We'll just get on that monorail and go straight to the Magical Kingdom. He don't know what he's talking about."

When she got off the bus, she told her group to start looking for the monorail. We looked around the resort a while and went out to the overlook by the pool. We saw them still wandering around. I guess they were still looking for the monorail.

We heard lots and lots of not funny but stupid comments while we were there.

My husband and I were saying that you would think people would do more research before going to Walt Disney World.

Aww, that is so cute!

I love disney, dh not so much. Last year dh finally agreed to stop by for the day on our way down to visit his grandma in Ft. Myers Beach. As we were walking through the park I hear him softly singing something over and over again and I asked him what he was singing and he says, " Harpoon the Potato". Uh, what? He then says well I am at disney so I figured I would sing a disney song. Once again uh what disney song are you trying to sing? His response, " you know the one from the lion king". Ahh you mean Akuna Matata? DH, Oh is that what they are saying I thought it was Harpoon the potato. :rotfl:

Oh dear! My hubby and I read this two hours ago, and we're still laughing!:rotfl: I'm pretty sure that for me, that's how the song will go from now on!:rotfl2:

OMG-this would have driven me crazy!! lol I just assume everyone should know everything like we do. but what makes it worse is when they think the castmembers are wrong and they are right. Im being mean arent I?

Well, these are just a few we heard last week:

(1) The only people who uses fastpasses are lazy (said by a teen as we were flying through the faspass line; he was in the 85 min Soarin' standby line)

(2) I'll meet you in Fantasy Island (said by more than one person)

(3) Well, if I had to get my underwear wet for you, you can go on this ride for me (said by a mom to her child - they had just gotten off Splash Mountain)

(4) ALL princess dining is 2TS (they were talking about Princess Storybook Dining)

(5) I don't understand why it will take 2 1/2 hours for a table (overheard while checking in at 'Ohana)

At the MK the beginning of August we were trekking it from the bus from CBR to the gates of the MK when we passed this group and the woman stated - quick, let's get to the monorail, it will take us to the part of the park with the best rides. I about fell over laughing. Then someone else in their group said, no, let's catch the boat around to the back and get on Space Mtn. I guess they never looked at their maps or had ever been to the MK before because some of their other comments had us absolutely laughing like crazy once we got away from them & through the gates..............:rotfl:

Not really a comment just an OMG she didn't!
Okay so this lady who by the way was STUPID!!! was wating for the Tram in the MK parking lot and of course she was in a hurry. We let my DGP go ahead of us on the this tram cause we had my 2 yr old at the time and a stroller and a bag they didnt have anything and said they'd wait for us. So we waited patiently and kinda chuckled as this lady squezzed her double stroller and 6 people in one little row (we had a stroller too which is why we waited patiently). Then she forgets something on the ground to the side and runs and grabs it. By now the tram is already moving and instead of waiting she runs the tram down and falls off trying to jump on it. And her not so smart hubby tries to grab her arm and kinda drags her and finally lets her fall! OMG is she okay! Yep just dumb. Its not like MK is going to run away before she can get there!

Apperantly serveral SG and CM Supervisors asked her and her family to leave once the tram arrived and we saw them walking back and asked my DGP what was up! Man I laughed knowing she was okay just stupid!
Sorry I knw that was kinda mean but she was!
:rotfl2: :confused3

I wonder if they were thinking of the monorail at Disneyland in California that has a stop inside the park?

Most of these comments are made by people who just didn't plan... at all. And I don't get that. A friend of mine was going to begin planning a WDW vacation for next year, and I told her to make sure she booked at least 180 days out so she could get dining ressies. She said, "That's not fair. That makes it so only people who have been before can get reservations. How are people supposed to know about that?" Uh, it's called research. I just don't get it.

(both about my mom)
1.We were waiting for the rest of the family to finish riding EE, so I said "Let's go on Dinosaur." Never having been neither of us new what to expect. We asked the CM's at the entrance and they said "It's just like IASW" Well,it's not!!!:scared1: So,of course it's all my fault and Mom tells my DDs "never trust your mother!!!" (laughing the whole time) After that any ride we went on my 6yo would say "GS,It's just like IASW".

2. After that we went on Mealstrom and I scared the whole boat by yelling "Oh no ! We're going backwards over the waterfall!!!"

And we like to walk around and say stuff like "I guess the A/C is broken in the dome" because it's so hot (just to get a laugh out of some people!) or
I act like I'm mad at my DH and say "what do you mean the monorail does go to Universal?"

It was soooo hard for me to keep my mouth closed but my husband and I agreed that the guy was a bit of a snothead and should have to find out these things for himself! I don't think you are being mean at all!

but what makes it worse is when they think the castmembers are wrong and they are right. Im being mean arent I?
Nope. Not at all.

Now just imagine being the CM and having a guest tell you "You're full of crap" to your face (and we're talking about things like, "The fireworks are at 10:00pm tonight." or "Space Mountain wasn't inspired by a Disney movie.").

It can be... well, trying when you deal with a Guest who thinks they know more about an attraction you work at than they do -- despite the fact that they've ridden it a dozen or so times in their lives and you did that in your first week of training alone.
