Frozen Ride opening date?

Hello,

Does anybody have an estimate to when the Frozen ride in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot will open? I know Disney said early 2016, but what month could you see the ride opening?

Well they are getting a large 450-500 million dollar land. But that's what happens when the ownership puts money into the parks constantly.

No word on that they haven't even officially announced it as frozen yet but they have said a new port is coming to disneysea and the insiders are the ones who have said this will be the frozen land. They are also doing a much larger new fantasyland than WDW did.

Tons of new stuff and they are moving their its a small world to a new location. This new fantasyland makes WDW look small.

Is it wrong to hope that they'll be testing in December 2015? I rode both TT and MS when they were still in testing.

Anyway... Officially...I hope the ride opens in "May"

Second... Tokyo gets better stuff because they have high attendance and make money...wdw never has.

They're hotel rooms go for a "competitive" rate too...unlike the motel 6-esque poly.

Is this comment sarcastic? I'm pretty sure the only reason WDW doesn't get more new stuff, is because they don't have to add anything to keep attendance high.

Permit filed Feb 3 for "Norway Attraction Rehab" has December 31, 2016 as the final date for completion.

To me, it would make sense to open it the same time as the Meet & Greet to try and help dilute the crowds, and since that is being built from ground up and the trees have barely come down ... I don't see early 2015.

I think worse than when the M&G was when there because now there are lots who want to do a ride who don't care about characters. It would be crazy to not open them both at the same time.
