We only had to wait 5 min max to see A&E w/ our 6:20pm return time. Super easy meet & greet. Both sides were in use- no idea if both sisters were on the other side too.
We also peeked at the Frozen Fun party -not really our thing w/ DD5- loud techno blaring, ice carving was kind of neat though. We are here until Tues and I really hope studio 17 and the sing along are open but CM's all said it's iffy.
The park was far less crowded than I had been planning for -perhaps the colder weather (by SoCal standards) kept people away. It was much more crowded when we visited in mid-August (weekdays) and spring break (late March, weekdays). We got through the doors around 12:30pm, did 3 rides in Bugs Life, rode Goofy's, the zepher, swings, streetcar and Ariel, did all the activities in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (we never get through all of them), plus dinner @ WCT, met Woody, Jessie, Flick, Anna and Elsa - each with 5 minute of less waits, plus lots of time people watching and shopping - AND we were out by 6:45pm.
I'm sure tomorrow will be busier and in terms of the A&E M&G once folks realize it's at CA the fastpasses will not be available all day (it looked like they were still being handed out even at 4pm but when we came back at 6:20 for our FP return the kisosk and sign was gone). All in all, a wonderful day on day 1 of a trip where we had very low expectations on being able to do anything other than enjoy the sights.
