Hi everyone, I just finally unpacked all our FEs and paperwork from our cruise. We re-booked this cruise onboard to get the 10% discount and OBC. After rebooking, they left us a certificate to give ONE friend or family a 10% discount on the same cruise. I do not have any family that can go on this crusie with us so I am offering this to my DIS friends! Unfortunately, I only have one so the first person to PM me will get the discount. BUT, please read this first to make sure you are willing to do this.

1. You must rebook your cruise using a special booking code.
2. Then you must PM me your last name and reservation #.
3. You will need to do step 1 & 2 by the 21st (the certificate is good for 30 days from 11/29, so with the holidays, I will need to fax it on 12/22 at the latest).
4. It's open to everyone! (you do not have to be a US resident)

Also, I still have a few "win a free 4NT cruise tokens" tokens from our DCL House Party. If you woudl like to enter that contest, send me a PM.

Didn't disappear, got caught up in finals. I managed (have absolutely no idea how) to get an A in my healthcare finance managerial class. Me, who could never balance a checkbook. Waiting on my other grade to be posted.

Is this an online or campus-based degree for Nursing Informatics (?) ?

We have a fence for our tree partly because of the dogs and partly because of the toddler....

It's nice to hear we weren't the only ones to put a fence around our tree. My DH made a cute white picket fence, complete with a gate when our kids were toddlers and once they got older and we no longer needed it, the kids asked us to put it up anyway.

I am learning to golf but didn't bring my clubs, as I am very green and didn't want to take up tee times from those who really play. ... Staying at my timeshare in the Marriott Barony Beach Club. My brother and SIL will join us the first half of the trip (we don't see them but usually once a year; this will be the 4th time this year for me - they came for an annual visit; the day they left my mother got sick and died 9 days later; don't know how my brother would have handled seeing her unconscious; I visited them in Cape Cod in the summer and now this - it is a record # of visits since my brother moved to Boston 22 years ago. And in January, the three of us spend 3 weeks in Hawaii.

This is my dad's 2nd road trip this fall - the first was a dry run, up to KY, overnight, and then home. Before that, it had been 19 years since he took an overnight trip (he's 80 now).

BEAGLES AND LABS RULE! they are both so cute. What I call "real dogs."

The sad story - I think they are related. ANimals just seem to have an unusual connection to their people.

I've actually left the bedside about a year ago. I work on documentaion systems for a small hospital. My degree is totally online. NI isn't offered anywhere in Florida on a graduate level. So I "commute" to Baltimore to go to school.
The poll is ridiculously annoying now....

Happy Friday everyone. We've got rain here in CA (yeah) so its feeling very cozy in the house with the tree and candles. Going to two Christmas parties tomorrow and my gifts are totally Disney related. Only wish I was getting one of them.

Two of my sons are heading for the Sierras to snowboard tomorrow at Northstar.

Shoshie---Have a good time at mouseadventure and keep dry.

I am going to Disneyland next weekend to be amongst all the festivities, decorations. Just can't get enough of the parade, small world and the haunted mansion. So pretty this time of year. Of course, the characters in their Christmas outfits are a necessary reason to wait in line. My DS is so sweet, because he grabs everyone's tickets and runs around getting fastpasses. He has quite a system.

Both my DH work Christmas party and my work Christmas party are tomorrow night at the same exact time. So, instead of trying to decide which one to go to...we are ditching both of them and going to WDW! We see those people enough during the week.

Sigh. I guess I'm the only one who doesn't mind cruising past the pretty logos.

I pulled off our office holiday party today---a Frosty the Snowman theme---56 people showed up out of 112 invited---last year we had 80 people but it wasn't held on a Friday---we have a lot of long-time Feds here at the Archives so they have a lot of use-or-lose leave they must take by the New Year.

I would love to do a Disney themed holiday party some year!

I've agreed to go to the new Disney movie this weekend with the friend I dragged to the Food and Wine Festival/Doctor Who convention back in October. I heard that the movie got great reviews.

Have a pleasant and relaxing weekend everyone!

December is pretty boring around here - no parties at ALL this year. Guess everybody has gotten too old to do the work of hosting. When we first moved into this neighborhood, you could count on at least a half a dozen in December.

Can't wait to hear how you like the movie. I never ever go to the movies - can't sit still - but must admit, I'm tempted by this one.

They have removed the poll, I dont mind scrolling either but when I have to keep an eye on my boss so he cant see what Im doing it is hard work! lol.
