Running Wheelchair Rental for Wine and Dine?

Hi everyone
We are travelling from Ireland in October for the Run Disney Wine and Dine Weekend. I will be running the 5,10 and 21k races while my two children had planned to run the 5k with me. My youngest son is disabled but we had hoped he would be well enough to run / walk the 5k. Its now looking likely that he will be unable to walk or run this distance.

There is a wheelchair option, but the wheelchair needs to be a running wheelchair. We don’t have one of those and just have his ‘regular’ wheelchair.

Would anyone know where I might be able to hire one in the Orlando area?

the Kyle Pease foundation my have resources for you. I feel like this is a question I've seen pop up in a few fb groups over the years.

If your child fits into an appropriate stroller (such as a bob) you may be able to use that via AWD (you'll need to be contacting rundisney about AWD either way about being a DUO, I believe) since it would be getting used for medical purposes and not "I'm trying to bring my baby to run in the race."

ETA: I found the thread I was thinking of and resources recommended were: Kyle Pease Foundation, Ainsley's Angels, and Team Hoyt. It was mentioned that they help with purchasing chairs (cost assistance) but posters were unsure about borrowing or rental availability.

In that case, I'd try Team Hoyt first. Ricky was an adult, I think he was over 40 yo, and was in a running wheelchair. Don't know if Team Hoyt still runs, but they have experience with adults.
